Hey all,
I've seen the boys close to ten times now and tend to gravitate to the same spot in a club each time. Do we all do this?
I'm curious: for club shows, where do you like to set up? Some people are diehard floor standers, some dig the balcony...
I tend to want to be up front, but it's a sacrifice for good sound. Plus, I'm an old bag, so the moshcrazy isn't my jam. I tend to head off to left, just on the edge of the crowd, maybe 6-7 rows back when at a club. Toying with a soundboard spot on Saturday, though, to soak up the sound a bit more.
Just curious... Where's your spot?

I tend to also enjoy middle left, closer to the sound board if it's in the middle

I really dislike being in the first couple of rows unless it's a smaller show.

I'm short, so I always go for the front but since I've already seen a couple shows on this tour I'm thinking of trying a sound stage spot for audio quality. It's also a good way to avoid the chit-chatters in the crowd, which I can't fucking stand. It is a really intimate experience being super close to the artists but when I saw the videos from Camping Weekend I was really disappointed that I didn't watch the show from the back at least one of the nights. Abby's visuals looked crazy from back there.

for them and basically any club show i always go for like just catacorner off the edge of stage, so that im not actually front row/leaning on stage but like behind the big stacks of speakers where there's usually a little more room. that way i dont feel like my head is part of the whole show like it feels like when yr literally front row but i can still see stage really well and kinda headbang and do my thing.

drawback can be that sound can sometimes be slightly muddy cuz i feel like its esp bassy there and depending on venue like u might just not b able to see panda or like avey or like 1 of the dudes on farthest part. but liiiike, its rad

stage right, close to PB. the 9:30 Club is sweet because you can roll up right before the opener goes on or during and get a sweet spot really close to the stage.

That's an accurate take.
What can I say, change is hard... I ended up right in my usual spot... 3-4 rows back in front of Panda, but man Avey is mesmerizing up there. His energy is unstoppable.
Each time I see them I am struck by Noah's stage presence. It is amazing how he can keep his eyes shut/down for that entire show. Serious willpower. When Avey brought the house lights up to see the crowd in Montreal, Panda took that opportunity to turn away and drink/wipe down his face. Boy needs to stay in the pocket for sure.
Next stop is MPP for me, and I will be farther back, Dave side. Should be interesting to see/feel the difference.

Same. First row of balcony in the part that's closest to the stage is my spot.

Right in front of Brian, dead center, on the railing. I like to air drum to the beat, and its harder to do with another back in front of you. If I don't get that dead center spot, I have a tendency to move towards the right (Dave) not due to bad member preference, but due to the fact that I have back scoliosis, and therefore find it much more comfortable to tilt my head left than right.
