Seriously maybe my favorite part of seeing them in Seattle last September!
I'd love for them to play it when I see them at Mountain Oasis in October, but considering what I've seen of their recent setlists they probably won't. Really hoping their set isn't too similar to the last I saw. At the same time though I'd still love it and not even care because that bonnaroo set was delicious.
And this was the most awesome opening to Moonjock ever. Glad I got to see this,
I personally was rolling and couldn't really see the stage so I had no idea what it was. Thought it was samples at first then I thought it was Panda because the "The Wall" thing he was doing kind of sounded like him. It was awesome.
While Brother Sport and Chores and Peacebone... are always my go-to answers for this question, I feel I should rep one of the earlier (and best) versions of "Taste" from their Take Away Show. This video made me realize 1) how strategically they think about texture, 2) about craft.
I wish the MPP version had stayed closer to this one, but I acknowledge this version would not have fit on the mood of the album.
P.S. And I love that most of the comments about this video involve people's frustrations at Geo for standing in the cart. :p
Dannybrown, yes i was there and that was straight up the best opening for any show ive seen, dont think anything could top it(had smoked one 2 myself too and was rolling a bit too hehe) was otherworldly
cuckoo live is pretty insane and probably one of my favorite things AC has done..the malta fest version is so so so so so good
