on the flip side tho, i guess it would be a bummer if you've looked up to someone like avey tare for years and then find out that he doesn't agree with you politically, especially if politics is important to you. but i'm pretty sure avey tare wouldn't care if he knew you were a republican. heck maybe his mom is a republican. he knows that that's just one aspect of someone's life and doesn't sum them up most of the time.
