Okay, I'll give HCTI more of a fair shake after my upcoming bout with CHz.

I have listened to it and enjoyed it, but probably only once or twice tbh.

HCTI took me the longest to get into (besides Danse Manatee which I'm still not 100% sold on), like I would have to come back to it every couple of months/years. But I think it's the most rewarding of all of them once it finally sinks in.

Also agree with Atmosphericrex that People is slept on, though it isn't even their best EP in my opinion.

AC makes my favorite music. I can't choose between most their albums without it feeling like a betrayal. I'll chop em up like this: 1st place- merriwether, sung tongs, spirit, feels, strawberry jam, Hollandagain, campfire, ODDSAC, prospect, water curses, fall be kind. 2nd place- everything else.

For me it's a tie between Strawberry Jam and Feels. I chose Strawberry Jam on the poll because I have fonder memories of listening to it and it was more immediate than Feels for me.

I listened to Feels yesterday while driving, sun was out. Actually, it was today but that's Feels for you, it's like a half remembered dream. There's nothing in their discography like the end of Did You See The Words. It reminds me of a Malick film, one interminably extended moment until you're overwhelmed by beauty. I was crying. Listened to it 40000 times.

Moonjock gets me into the album so much. Just the imagery and emotion of my childhood road trips matches the song lyrics and background. The rest of the album is great too, especially if viewed as a "trip" from childhood to adulthood and relationships.

just my 2 cents on why i love it.
