wow, no alvin row? i haven't been following every show, but haven't they been playing all the old songs at every show?

yeah as far as i know they played it at every show except tonight, i was surprised too. luckily i saw them play it last night. i was hoping to hear it again though!
that reminds me, they didn't play lying in the grass either, which i think was a first as well. normally they've been playing all the singles at every show

You sure?
Whoever put the setlist on setlist.fm said they did play Alvin Row.

Seems strange that they wouldn't.

That set list is bogus imo, unless I went into some sort of transient blackout state in the middle of the concert they definitely didn't play Vertical last night

5/10 was really dope; super super loud though and i haven't been able to hear anything other than ringing out of my left ear since. there was this one super high pitched sound they kept playing through the left channel that really hurt. enjoyed it so much i got tix for their show at The National in November. but i might wear earplugs then.

This was actually my first time seeing them live ( I just got into their music at the start of this year) and it was probably the best show I've been to. Despite not being super familiar with the new songs, they brought such an energy that I had a great time anyway. I'm gonna try to get tickets to the Baltimore show in November since I'll be (relatively) near for school in the fall.

yeah 930 can be soooo loud, my friends i was with said they couldn't hear anything afterwards. i had earplugs in and everything still sounded really clear luckily, i'm sure that has to do with how good the sound at 930 club is. i've definitely been to shows at other places where i was wearing earplugs and could barely hear things other than the bassier sounds though

Yeah I didn't wear earplugs and my hearing was off for at least two days after, I never really noticed when it went back to normal lol
