I liked Gnip Gnop more at first, but I've found Hounds to be more rewarding long-term. More interesting and complex. Owes itself more to repeated listens

The production effects are especially good on Hounds. I don't think if it's my favorite melody, but I absolutely love the intro

Both tracks are growers for me

Listening to this for the first time in headphones.....

Gnip Gnop sounds like audible ice cream.
Hounds of Bairro gives me desert/dessert vibes.

if you're really desperate, there are some people on discogs selling deluxe LPs including the 7". little pricey though: https://www.discogs.com/sell/list?q=gnip+gnop

Gnip Gnopping so much lately. I love how avey & panda trade parts. Specifically they switch who delivers "Gnip Gnop I don't Ever Wanna Stop" and "Gnop Gnip You Gotta easy in the beginners " throughout the song.

Is it just me or is that abrupt synth gurgling at the end of Gnip Gnop really devastating in a kind of "the childhood dream is over, back to reality" kind of way? I initially found it jarring and sorta tacked-on but it's been giving me cheels the more I listen.

Hounds of Bairro is good. Imagine all the fans they would lose if Lennox (how come no one calls them by their last names?) used his "hocketing" technique in every song from this point on.

there is something sweet abt the ending of Gnip. its like they're saying "dont wanna ever stop" and you really don't want that song to end when the chorus gets going... i could loop that forever. but then it like has to end cuz of reality/traditional pop song format length

I really feel I'm basically in the band at this point after they took on my points about bootlegs and just recorded this straight up. I'll work on the hocketing for next time don't worry.

Really loving Hounds now. Listening for the lyrics really makes it for me.

"could be any day now, beware"

I like how the kick drum pattern in Hounds repeats every 5 beats

I haven't been able to find any HoB lyrics anywhere, so I listened again and again to create my own interpretation. I'm open to any critique; I want to make them to be as accurate as possible, as HoB is one of my favorite recent AC songs.

Hounds of Bairro

1.
Take care with that mission
Because: this stuff lasts
Limbs that get hacked
Won't just grow back
Plans will make or
Break this old man
Beware of those inches, because
Once it's passed...you can't go back
Up 'till now it's
Just been dreams when it's been seen
A genesis brews up again
A premise sounds the promise right
The narrow view has clear recital
We...get it right
As the moment closes in
Time runs out
As the moment closes in

2.
Magical creation
Take care: think it through
When a pup grows
Savage, who knows
How to forecast
When the wind blows?
Could be any day now
Beware: tension grows...no big deal
How to go: care
On this team, ourselves the same?
A question vexed with recklessness, and
Should a gambit go again
A hard reset won't clear the point up

(Break)

3.
Can't fix us, we're broken
Big dare: make it move
Have a window
Keep it local
Take a turn and
Pass the focus
Being's only systems
Don't last: skin and bone...sand and steel
Up 'till now it's
Just been dreams when it's been seen
A genesis brews up again
A premise sounds the promise right
The narrow view is murky, I just
Wait...signs speak out
Like a sticker on the hood
Almost there
Like a stick that's in the mud

There are some lyrical differences in what you have and what we've compiled on the lyrics page, I still hear "wretchedness with recklessness" and "portal up", though it definitely sounds like it could be "a wretched vex with recklessness"
