Anyone going to the UK shows on this tour? Anyone been to any before? Where? When? What were the band like? What was the crowd like?

Never seen them live before but I'm seeing them at The Troxy in London on April. I kinda want to know what the crowds are like too.

I'm also going to the Troxy date. I've seen them 3/4 times before, but because I'm an old miserable git I tend to just stand at the back near the bar/toilet so can't really comment much on the rest of the crowd :D

Hey, I'm goin to the show, saw panda in brixton last year and the crowd was great! I'm hoping for lots of energy and dancing. Can't wait. What do you think about the combination of the two shows, also anyone know about the troxy? is it a good venue?

I thought the combination was a bit weird, and probably sad for anyone that was attending both nights. I've heard from some friends that The Troxy is pretty good.

first time I ever saw em was in belfast at the stiff kitten (rip). amazing amazing show and the crowd was super fantastic. and I think they play smaller venues in the UK/Europe than in America. smaller is better.

Panda crowd was much better than the AC crowd which was full of kids talking and pushing to the front for the hits. Since they're playing no hits, and they've lost plenty of fairweather fans, these shows should be better.

OK hey so I'm going booking tickets to one of these today/tomorrow. Anyone have any idea which venue is better? I'd be leaning towards the London gig myself cos I just went to Manchester to see Tame Impala recently. Hon the pool YNWA

Also bringing a friend who is new to the world of the Anc

They've also announced a Liverpool show for September if that's easier from Ireland?

Ooh thanks for getting back to me. I'll be going with another friend to one of the English shows around that time. He's a big fan, just can't make these shows.

Decided on the London gig anyways. Have no interest in meeting any of you there. I'll be wearing a red Sung Tongs t-shirt but do not approach me

GFOTY is supporting them in London. She's one of the worst musicians out there in my opinion and a pretty irritating person to listen to.
Oh well, I'll have a nice relaxing dinner beforehand.

I had actually never heard of her but I did some research. I found her music to be very... hit and miss. I guess maybe it's just not my kinda thing but needless to say, I'm not exactly looking forward to GFOTY.

Yeah GFOTY is a weird one haha... I quite like what she's going for, like weird ironic-pop that's actually pretty catchy sometimes. Her live shows look fun in a really stupid way... Cheerleader costumes and such...

Do we know whether AC are getting any support when they return to the UK in September? They're gonna be at Liverpool (my home city!), Glasgow and Leeds. I might see them in both Manchester and Liverpool... Maybe the setlist will change I'm between the dates!

My tickets for the troxy show arrived a couple of days ago, buzzed for it now, not been to the troxy before but it looks pretty cool on the website, I'm not a big GFOTY fan but I can imagine her set being interesting, a couple of people I know are much more interested in her set than anco's

I didn't know where else to post this, but holy shit - they rock out Natural Selection here.
I think the boys are really grabbing hold of this material live.
