Alright, I haven't been in Portland for all but three months, but my best friend since I"ve been a child and I are going to this together and I'm beyond excited! Also, Portland has been a beautiful city, and I'm glad to have this experience here. I'm sure there are others on this board attending this show, make yourself known, lets mingle, I need some AC friends to paint with here!

I'll be going to the PDX show with a couple of my good friends. I'm so glad they're not playing Crystal Ballroom again this time around. Can't wait to see what it's going to look/sound/feel like this tour.

Hey, I heard a little rumor that they're gonna be doing a DJ set somewhere perhaps after the show. Has anyone heard anything else about this?

I'm down to join! I'll be wearing a white long sleeved shirt with a lot of ducks on it. I also have long brown hair. If you spot me, just holler, LUKAS!

Might have Loch & Summing flip flopped. Sucks that we all seemed to slightly miss the boat on the dj set. I'm back at home now and i'm like fuck this place i'm supposed to be at the dj set. My hunch was maybe it would be at Club S1, but I have no clue.

Incredible show. Recycling was insane with Jeremy on the kit, that made the song something completely different. Loch raven and bees were gorgeous, was not expecting a dancy loch raven WOW.

Dancey Loch Raven was a highlight fer sure! What a thrill - absolutely exceeded my expectations. The visuals were beautiful and complementary; both Avey and Panda sounded great - I had such a stupid grin on my face all evening. Geo rocks the whole time and the drumming was badass. My wife, also a fan, but one who doesn't impress easily, said it was amazing.

Such a gorgeous show all around.
There was a moment during the end of Daily Routine when the entire theater was DEAD SILENT and it was just Panda singing "In my beeeeedddd". Unbelievable.

Ok so - Last night was incredible! All of the live clips and bootlegs I've been listening to did not at all prepare me for just HOW great it sounded. I'm thinking one of two things...
Either
1. It's just hard to capture the quality of their live shows from bootleg recordings
or
2. Now that they've been touring for a little while, they're slowly perfecting this new material.
I mean, come on.. The intro to Lying in the Grass?? I was floored with how great it sounded. Same goes for the intro to Spilling Guts. Ugnh!
Who else thinks that this tour is just improving and improving?
Also, Gnip Gnop is SO goddamn fun! I am so glad we ended up getting what was basically my ideal setlist. Glad we got Recycling instead of Bagels. And Gnip Gnop instead of Hounds (even though hounds sounds nice) And no Jimmy Mack, which I'm totally fine with. It was a tight, REALLY well performed set!
I guess I want to let others who are still waiting to see them on this tour know that the bootlegs are not a great indicator of what it's actually like being there in person.

Yes this was incredible! Loch raven was incredible, the encore opening with bees made me cry, along with that moment everyone was silent for daily routine with the panda opera! And friend gave me some mushrooms before the show and it was the perfect amount to compliment but not overwhelm.

This show was so fucking good, I can't get over it. I was so completely satisfied with their set the night before in Seattle, I didn't think it was possible that they could blow that show out of the water the next night.

Me too. This show was a big deal for me - these guys are so damn talented. Absolute pleasure to listen to their records; fucking thrill to hear/see them live!

I haven't really stopped thinking about this show since Saturday. Was having pretty lukewarm feelings about the album prior but this show has made me love it. It was just too too good.
My feelings were a little above lukewarm but I totally agree
