I'm really hoping for some FEELS/ST era jams. I agree that transitions won't be as big a part of the show, but I don't see the boys ever ever being like a "regular" band following the song>awk banter>song model for the live experience.
I wouldn't be surprised if, after the several years they spent touring with instruments, there's a little bit of both going on: Geodude will keep it bumping, but I believe (and hope!) Avey & Panda Bro will be bouncing back and forth between table-tech (like the MPP tour) and "real" instruments. That'd be so rad, in my humble opinion.
I think we'll hear very little from CHZ. Folks are right to say Peaceboner/M'Girls/Bro Sport will get some representation for casuals (which is fine - those are fucking awesome songs, everybody likes hearing them). I also think, especially looking at how they've kind of teased stuff out this year, that the stuff they post online are always huge hints; that NC show they released awhile back might be an indication of the era of their music they are thinking on. So maybe lots of old jamz like that.
Michael, Remember encore.
I hope they play Who Would Win a Rabbit because I've never seen them play that song, and I'd fuck with We Tigers again. I think/hope we hear a lot from Strawberry Jamz. With that being said: anything they do is a treat.
What tunes have they never played live? I know Winter Wonderland is one. Turn Into Something fits well with the vibe of Painting With, the energy is similar to Floridada in my mind. Banshee Beat remix sounds tight. Have they ever incorporated solo tunes into an AC set? Water Curses seems guaranteed, Fickle Cycle would be cool too

it's possible we'll see some more chz songs with the possibility of a touring drummer. i was only at the pre-album release shows so there are some tunes like Moonjock, Amanita, and Pulleys that i'd really enjoy seeing on this tour.
what seems within reason but is also what i'd personally love to hear:
bat you'll fly
leaf house
rabbit
fickle cycle
loch raven
#1
water curse(?even possible?)
guys eyes----->taste (live taste version like... 5 now??)
lion in a coma
almost cant picture chz songs in this set.... but what if they heavily reworked something like moon jock with harmonies or something... feel like theyd be potentially limited tho without deakin, esp on a song like moonjock
There are plenty of factors to consider. What sort of equipment will they be using? Will Panda be drumming at all? Does Avey want to scream much?
Unrealistic wishlist:
Winter wonder land
Grass
Running the Round Ball
Lablakely Dress
Loch Raven
Reverend Green
Taste
What Happened?
Tantrum Barb
Bat You'll Fly
La Rapet
We Tigers
Leaf House
Kids on Holiday
Water Curses
Baby Day
Boys Latin Effect
Love these picks
I'd like to add:
April and the Phantom
Turn Into Something
And especially GRAZE
When Dave said in an interview that the album was designed to be isolated songs rather than they're usual route of an album that flows from one to the next, it makes me think that their setlists might reflect that as well? In other words, they'll play non-PW songs that were on singles (eg Crimson, Safer, etc).
I think we are going to hear short and to the point transitions between jams, but transitions nontheless. in fact, i think this is going to be some of the most dynamically interesting shows AnCo has ever done. very very excited for philly next friday.
Avey said in his interview w Zane Lowe that the upcoming live shows will feature AC's typical "long expansive pieces", so we can probably expect to hear transitions and extended jams even though the new album is all short songs

Anything off of Fall Be Kind seems like it might be possible to pull off with this new set up. Would love to hear Graze or I Think I Can. Or even that beach song they have B)
Things I want to see happen on this tour (even though I sadly won't be attending any shows)
Water Curses
Winter Wonder Land
Natural Selection>Hey Light
Tikwid
Bagels> From A Beach (A boy can wish, right?)
Then I want them to play the "bonefish" sample, but instead of going into Peacebone they play Recycling instead
