Been re-listening to to the samples...
Golden Gal has really grown on me. It seemed too similar to Roses On The Window to me at first, but the "chorus" has a great vibe to it that is it's own thing. Wondering what the Golden Girls sample is gonna be haha and how it ties in ala The Wipeout sample
Surprised people aren't digging on Lying In The Grass more, the stuff with Colin Stetson sounds FANTASTIC on this track. It's like the jazziest AC has gotten, outside of No More Runnin maybe. I dig how they put sax more in the front on this song, with some cool panning
It's nuts how different Floridada sounds than the rest of the album
And finally, the anticipation/expectation I have for the next part of Vertical has reached the point where I wish I just never heard the samples, haha

reading peoples' reviews of 30-second low bitrate samples is the most boring possible thing

What samples? You mean the album isn't six minutes long and finally embracing the vaporwave aesthetic?

Thanks so much! Some of that was intentional at the end, but the compression didn't help

That's a sweet video primetime! I've gotta say, the official video comes in third place for me after yours and the old alpine man shindig.

Brilliant video, and I like how you zoomed in at the end if that's what you did... ala Mr Fingers toward the end how it seems you are entering the molecular world

I really wanted to make a simple lyric video for Floridada, but quickly realized it would take an extraordinarily long time - especially since I've never done one before. But I wanted to do Avey's lines in one color and Panda's in another, mainly in an effort to learn the song better, hah.

I was just wondering if ac is also going to try and make their live material more direct and not so ambient... read somewhere that they were going for a feeling of more direct, shorter, not so ambient tracks (I have not heard any boots)...
If so it will be really interesting how older songs would play out... but even more compelling I guess if they are going to ditch or limit their epic long synthing transitions... does this mean they will play more songs on tour compared to last live shows... So many questions... Legit questions...

Hard to imagine a live AC show without transitions.
