The bonus at best could maybe be one new track from the album right? I don't think he'd drop the whole album as a bonus alongside a shoe right? Since deak is most likely not on the new anco, surely he must be working on or hopefully finishing up the album no? I just hope deak's alright.

It's really anyone's best guess, but I think the secret is 99% likely to be musically related. It'd be cool if it was an EP or DVD of sorts with a mix of previously heard and unheard jams

It might be helpful for people to not compare Deakin to Avey or PB, because those 2 guys are insanely prolific song writers. It's not like Deakin hasn't been involved in projects within the last 5 (almost 6 years). He's done several remixes, produced Down There, wrote songs for AC on TTG and CHz, toured with the band from 2011 to 2013, produced tons of great DJ mixes and played them at gigs, all while recording new and old music.
It would be great if we got more updates from him, but he's pretty much said there hasn't been much to update on beside that he's been recording

Though it would be nice if he gave those that contributed to the Kickstarter a heads up, before the presales over, on whether or not the Keep secret will also be included in the Kickstarter reward

Some of the Keep shoes I like just came back in stock, I was thinking of heading down to the store at the end of next week when I get paid (only 5 mins from my workplace). I wonder if they'd spill any beans re: Deakin secret in person...

Definitely one of the nicest, most down to earth musicians I've met / had coffee with. I'm sure the album will blow everyone's socks off once it drops.

Maybe there will be a dual announcement with the new AC release?

I pre-ordered mainly because I wanted some shoes I dont have to tie, and I love Keep shoes. But I'm hoping for some Deak Sounds on a physical format. I love the Keep Cassette and I really wanted to snag the Dinosaur Jr 7inch, looked sexy as hell, but felt weird about having velvety purple shoes haha.

I'm curious if this album will ever be released and why it's so delayed. Is Deakin just not feeling it? It seems like he's been sitting on some songs for years now. This is partly why I avoid a lot of kickstarter stuff though.
