hahaha, I Googled water curses cd case and found these completely unrelated pictures:

they're perfect

also if the CD tray part of the Water Curses album (the part that has the same artwork as the CD itself) was an album cover, it would probably be my favourite

thats cause theyre long exposures so alot of water is shown rushing over one spot

also, what does everyone think about the tomboy cover? its not my favorite ac cover, but i think it works pretty well. something about how stark and simple it is, i guess

I noticed it, but only because it was a lot more obvious in the first draft of the CHZ album art, not sure if you were around when that was revealed or not.
I don't mind the CHZ artwork too much, but I can't help but think that it'd look 10x cooler without the mouth. Thats just my opinion though. The metallic cover is indeed pretty sweet, I'm glad I got it on vinyl.

Yeah you're right, I totally understand why they put it there. They incorporated it into their stage setup and everything. I guess I'm just not that into it.

i remember people hating the MPP cover when it was first shown

few years on and it's become a sort of 'iconic' album art

I liked the cover art from the get-go though, even though I think the inside cover seems more suited to the music. Optical illusions are fricking great.

yeah, i get what you're sayin. i would've been super psyched if this had been the cover, though:

like, it looks kind of like a tree (life) but also like a nuclear explosion (death). i really think that goes along super well with all of the ideas of self-contradiction that the albums based on. idk though, tomboys still one of my fave albums, and beggars cant be choosers!

Fuck, how'd I forget about Tomboy? That's definitely my favorite. The look on the girl's face conveys so much, I guess. More than the other AC albums do.
