This topic has probably been discussed before, but I figured I'd revive it.

My favorite is probably Sung Tongs. Something about the cartoonish, half-skeletal figures is really enchanting to me, and it perfectly matches the music of the album. Coming in at a close second is Merriweather Post Pavilion; the optical illusion is obviously cool, and, like Sung Tongs, the image somehow fits really well with the sounds.

MPP and Strawberry Jam are the pretty legendary ones I feel. Can I add Honeycomb / Gotham? And then Campfire Song and Feels and Sung Tongs and and and

I like Feels the best, I just think that one matches the music best. Here Comes the Indian is in a close 2nd place, LOVE that album cover.

ODDSAC probably. Love the colors. That being said I'm not really that stoked on a lot of their album art. Person Pitch might be second for me even though comparatively it's not an album I listen to often.

I didn't think SJ was great at first but then I got it on vinyl and the colours are super vibrant, it's probably my favourite actual AC cover.

In terms of like which ones are most representative of the music therein, everything from Strawberry Jam through Centipede Hz is pretty on point. I've never been crazy over their artwork though.

If we're counting solo releases, then Person Pitch would easily be in my top 3. I love Feels, too.

I might also be biased toward Sung Tongs and MPP since they're my two favorite Anco releases. I wonder how much influence the music itself has on one's appreciation of the cover art.

Crack Box is great. Vermilyea's one of my favorite cartoonists.
