Imagine STGSTV with geo's bleep bloops...

actually geo is responsible for the glip glops. i think panda usually does the bleeps. they haven't blooped since 2002, though. i don't know what you're talking about there

Hopefully Avey makes the Spirit tour DVD he has mentioned.

What do you even mean? Are you saying Panda is more about percussion and rhythm, and Geo is more for electronics/samples?

this may be heresy, but i dream of a re-recorded (or even mildly reinterpreted) STGSTV. if they brought the vox to the front and redid the instrumentals faithfully (with some wiggle room), it would probably be the best psychedelic album of all time. as is, it's one of them.

i think the magic of spirit is the low fi, amateurish quality to it. fitting to the themes of the album it does sound very childlike, which only makes it more beautiful. plus the headspace that avey would be in at that time would be so different to his now that any re-recording couldn't hold a candle to the original.

Im keeping my expectations really low tbh. All I want is to hear tour confirmation before the year is over.

Can someone explain the "spirit tour dvd" when or where did he mention it and what did he mean by it?

in this interview I think: https://soundcloud.com/thewanderingwolf ... collective

he says he has a bunch of footage from 2001/2002 (i think) shows and he's thinking about making a doco out of it when he gets around to digging through it

Oh yeah I forgot he mentioned that

01/02 tour would be Danse/Hollindagain/Indian material though I'm pretty sure

I would kill to see some good Indian material live, however little there is.
