I think it's pretty realistic that we may see a single released before the end of this year, if that's true I'm hoping it'll be track 3!

I remember him saying in an interview early this year that he hopes to have it out by the end of 2013 but that seems really unlikely at this point.

I explained Panda's new material to a friend as

"Death Grips via Panda Bear on a massive amount of shrooms lost in a mystical forest."

You're right though. But it's still awesome. I really really love what he's done with Principe Real.

Hahaha, this exact quote must have been thrown around in the Tomboy thread as well. I think we're at least a year away from an album release.

anyway, it doesn't even seem like panda's style anymore to tour songs unfinished. Essentially all the Tomboy songs were premiered with the exact same arrangements, lyrics, etc. that showed up in the finished recordings. The same was true of the Person Pitch material too, and he played Young Prayer in full in concert in 2002 (?). It seems more like Avey's thing to debut songs without choruses etc. (Also Frightened, Summertime Clothes).

Panda may not change his songs as drastically as Avey does, but you can definitely tell what songs he's psyched about based on his live set. It'll be interesting to see if the set changes at all when he plays Pitchfork in the fall.

whatcyou talkin bout willis?

Hope he doesn't release over half the album as singles like he usually does, probably the best way to spoil the album's release

I really hate when artists do this. This is exactly why Cruel Summer was a major disappointment to me.

[edit] Does anyone have any idea what the screams from the intro of WAZZUP are sampled from? They sound so familiar. I almost want to say Smash TV or that BERSERKER game that was never released.

It may not be from a game at all.

Also, Tribe Vibes is fucking awesome. For some reason it really reminds me of Atiba's Song.

I hate to litter the thread, but could someone please send me the boot? I've PM'd multiple users (and waited four days), but no one has responded with the material. I just really want to hear the new Panda stuff!

Also, if anyone wants to send the Slasher Flicks boot my way, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
