I think all the AC-related solo releases are pretty accessible. The only AC that you'd call inaccessible would be HCTI and backward (with the exception of ODDSAC), perhaps Sung Tongs as well.

I think that's gonna depend on the person though.

Yeah. And the song even. To me,"Winter Wonder Land" is more accessible than "#1" for instance.

really love them for opposite reasons. I really believe they are yin/yang. Everything about the one is completely what the other reflects. It just seems great to bounce back and forth between. And when they are harmonizing in AC you really get a transcendent experience.

YES! I love when they sing together more than anything! I would love to see them return to the MPP era vocal harmonies.

I'm not sure who would win if avey and panda were to duke it out to the death. Maybe Avey. I feel like Panda would be too passive and not as aggressive or as scary as Avey in his crocodile outfit. Panda would throw waves of reverb and delay at avey though, that might be his only power, and he could possibly trap Avey in a forcefield of choir-boy vocals, but Avey would break through them with his sharp screams, and then clobber him with twisty wordplays. Noah might be able to come back at the end with a tomboy gender fake-out sneak attack, seducing avey and paralyzing him with the death stare he gave deakin in that van interview. But in the end Avey in a shamanistic ritual of sorts could summon the Swamp Thing and pull Noah "down there" into the underworld as Avey rides off cackling in his flesh canoe.
Fuckin hilarious

they're both wonderful and essential. panda's solo career is stronger IMO, but avey is so central to the collective that it's too close to call. both rank among my favorite musicians.

Probably Avey. Has cumulatively written a larger amount of great songs and probably tops the songwriting peaks in AC, has a better taste in music and has worn more bucket hats.

Panda says that "coolness is having courage to do what's right," obviously he's had the whole idea of what it means to be cool figured out for years now
Meanwhile Avey says "One day maybe I'll have a cool kid with a granny," he believes that coolness is unachievable for him, and the only thing he can hope for is that his descendants might one day be cool, but even that he's unsure of.
Clearly I have objectively shown that Panda Bear is about 1000x cooler. Case closed

I find it absurd to bring in their personnel life to this topic. First of all Spirt was written by Avey....and thats all he really needs to win this contest. Everything they have done since that has been awesome for its own reason, but Spirit is just one of those albums that goes beyond AC. Not to mention his age when he wrote that. They are both 2 unique individuals that have 2 different ways of expression themselves through music!
