Haunted hotel bash! John Carpenter's Halloween screening, Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks and a rooftop party. Tickets seem a little expensive but I'm sure Saida and I will be in attendance.

This sold out before I could make sure I didn't have work on Halloween (turns out I don't!), if anyone is looking to get rid of 2 tickets or knows anyone that can help please let me know!

I was dumb and didn't get a ticket because I thought I was having a house party, but I cornpilled that and am trying to go to this. So if the above dude gets tickets and you have an extra ticket, please hit me up!

If anyone knows someone who accidentally bought 4 tickets then please point them this way haha. I emailed FYF/Cinespia in case they had plans to sell tickets on the door and they replied with no but said "don't worry Avey Tare will be back soon

", which is cool but I really want in on this Halloween show!

The rapid succession of the new Catchy (Was Contagious) music video, John Carpenter's Halloween screening, and then Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks was phenomenal. Here are just two photos from the event:

I also took a couple 30 second video clips, but it doesn't really capture the environment created by the somewhat gothic theatre.

Angel was wearing a skin tight gold scaly suit and a long black wig and painted her face to look like she was dead and did back bends on stage during an intermission. Avey was wearing this mask constructed of CDs that had horns coming out of it and a zebra print bodysuit with 45s attached to his hands and knees and crotch. Jeremy put black strips of tape on himself and was wearing all white and he had blinds next to him that he would open and close to let light through to show that his costume was supposed to be someone looking through blinds.

In the middle of their set they all stopped playing music and Angel stumbled around stage and then did backbends while Avey just slowly rotated the 45s attached to his hands and Jeremy was peeking through his blinds. It was a fantastic show at an amazing venue and everyone seemed so excited to see them although based on some of the people I talked to a lot of them came fore the DJs and rooftop party (which was cornpilled due to the rain.)
