so so so good
still processing what i just heard/saw
saw him at the beginning of may (at psych fest) and this time around it was soooo soooo much better
the new songs sounded more polished
the reworked tomboy tracks were incredible
absolutely amazeballs
oh! and before I forget-
blues control completely destroyed me
they were jammin so hard

Amazing show! First time hearing the new songs, I absolutely loved them. Especially the one right before the encore. Can someone post a set list for me please, so I know the names of the new songs?
The version of The Preakness he played was my jam, god damn that was good. Loved the slower song with the harp (?) samples too. There was too much to love actually, fantastic from start to finish. Consider me aboard the Grim Reaper hype train
And man, Blues Control! They blew me away! Was not expecting an opener that badass. Really digged them, I wanted to buy one of their albums but I didn't know which one to get. I'll be checking them out in the future for sure though.
All in all one of my favorite concerts that I've been to, had such a great time.

Though I was holding a recorder and knew I should limit movement, too many jams forced their way into my arms and booty and made me move, such a great show
Saw somebody two peeps in front of me holding what looked like an Edirol recorder, when show ended I got my own recorder sorted and looked up and person was gone, he was holding recorder about chest level around middle of floor level, was one of you?
I've never facebooked, Johnny, but good meeting y'all. If you or Saul can drive and wanna gonna hang out in Austin tomorrow, I'm off work, PM me now

Tascam recording sounds phenomenal. Could not be more pleased. Will upload as as I can see my computer.

Love that so many people have recorders now, not so much a question of whether show will be recorded but who's got best quality. Or rather who's gonna go through the time and trouble of uploading haha

haha did you struggle to pick between "The Mohawk" and "Mohawk" ? i think it's probably the latter, since they don't capitalize the T when it's used mid-sentence (like "I listen to the Pixies")
(it sounds terrific)

I've only listened to Day After Day/Garage so far but the way he sings the second "stay here while I move stay scared while I improve" part is phenomenal. I hope it's like that on the album. Excited to listen to the boot in full when I can play it on my good speakers. The quality is great esp with it eq'd

I loved Ms. Pacman, Boys Latin, Robert Frost, and my favorite so far Nadir. That one was such a jam and that deep drone at the very end felt so cool. The others were really great too. Last Night at the Jetty sounded amazing live, awesome way to start the show.

I'm finally home, wondering what the best route to go about uploading this guy is. The file is a 24 bit wav sampled at 44.1k (1.08 gb). Any suggestions?

Here's a Dropbox link for vanity's raw file.

I'm sitting down now to split and eq (although it sounds so nice it won't need much)

Frumpkin, I was gonna upload my recording to you so you could compare it and vanity's, but if vanity's sounds really good screw it.

I think the first one ripped from SoundCloud is the top-tier recording from the show - although it suffers from breaks in the recording/missing parts here and there.
Here's vanity's split & eq'd, which sounds great as well.

Thanks so much for all the work you're putting into these recordings Frumpkin. real slippi's recording from video sounds promising as well, but yeah the quality of the Soundcloud is hard to beat. Plus funeralpudding's.... could this show have set a record for most bootleg sources at a single AC-related concert?? Austin, you rock.
