you had every right to withhold this from us but just wondering,, why did you? ?? ?? ??
At the time, I was told to keep it to myself by the person who sent it to me. I wanted to honor that but now with all the time that's passed, I figured it wouldn't matter. Still, I sought out permission via SB out of respect. I wasn't intentionally trying to keep it from anyone and in fact that's why I just never said anything. I hate it when people are like "I've got this super rare recording everybody... but sorry, I can't share! Too bad for you guys, it sounds so good." I figured you can't miss what you didn't know existed in the first place, and that eventually the day would come (today).
Big big big props to 'feelings door' (sic) for doing this the RIGHT way .
Some things are free . Some things are'nt ......
That was sweet to respect confidences . Uber , respectful , cool
way to roll . Some rules are bullshit - like feeling entitled - and should be ignored
Others are structually important to a fair evolved & sensitive society - online
or off . So thank you - for sharing - but also for caring .
Re: SB show at UB . Yeah , i have it somewhere . I think it was on
shmoo toob , might still be . Noah was there actually w/ his wife .
I think it got posted cos i kept going after the 'runway show' and
muzak'd the floaters - the shows are usually early . Like 10 am - not a
time of day i see as often as i might like - and Andrew Vdubble you
was swopping out with me on a loooong version of Suicide's GIRL.
So that'd be listed under MGMT or Android Vdub i reckon ....
Morning ! X kp

Here's Petey's performance. And holy crap, he covered Kraftwerk! Once again proving my theory that Pete Kember is awesome.

Darn! Thanks! It's Amazing! I can't really find the words to describe its magnificence
10 Years Later! WOW!
PS It'd be cool if we could listen the whole performance of Sonic Boom, the teaser is great & it would be even better if there's a full video of the performance (but I doubt it, even though it's an irony because, why would you bring HD cameras to record only 3 mins.? That's a waste!!)

Loved watching him play in that video! If you're up for just listening though, Pete let us record his show in NY that happened about a year after that performance. Incredible set list (it includes the Kraftwerk cover). Check it out if you're interested. It was definitely one of my favorite shows ever.
Spoiler: show

I feel bad for this release, I think the PB mixtape kind of took attention away; this is so pure. So good and pure. I'm glad I've got a flight coming up, this'll get me through the red-eye.

I made a cover of sorts for this if anyone would like to use it. I tried to get the feeling of "togetherness"

Bumping cause i just heard this and am absolutely blown away by it. Incredibly moving compositions. Cant believe i didn't know about this until now. Shades of young prayer, feels, and a little person pitch wrapped up all in one. That 3rd jam is an absolute triumph. Its kinda beautiful how they can create these amazing pieces and then just let them die.
Does anyone know anything about the personnel or who played what? Is that noah playing guitar? And they really only played like 1 or 2 shows?
I just heard it on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=taHmWk5x9N8)
But would love a pm if anyone has a HQ file.
