Hi! I just moved to Charlottesville, VA after seeing PB in DC and cannot believe he announced a show at the Jefferson Theatre. It's a pretty small theatre with amazing sound.. I'm so amped about it and even converted a few friends after showing them footage of the DC show.

Is anyone on CA going to this show on sept. 16th? Meet up?!

Love, Vilent Sibrate

I ought to be going to this one since it's closer, but I think a large-ish meetup might be happening in pburgh, which would be fun.. hard to decide.

I lived in RVA for most of my life but relocated to charlotttesville in January. If anyone is planning on making the drive out here, I can let one *maybe* two people crash at my place. Also, substances may be available for the show, if you know, that's you're thing.

Let me know!

sixdaysyall!

Is anyone thinking the set will be drastically changed or contain any throwbacks other than the few Tomboy jams he did in the spring? I've only heard a few PP songs live, I'd love to hear a reworked "Carrots" or something.

Anyways, I was hit by a car on my bike yesterday so I wont be jamming out quite as hard :-(

Hope to see some of you cats there.

Long time lurker, just signed up.

I'll be there, coming from Richmond. I was at the DC show as well, so excited to see him again so soon.

Fellow_RVA-er!

I lived in RVA and went to VCU for a while. I feel like VA always got skipped over except for a Charlottesville show in 2007.

Super excited for the 9/16 show.

If you're from RVA, are you familiar with the street musician Gull? He plays guitar/drums at the same time and wears a creepy mask. Apparently he's been added as an opener.

Looks like we're up next to be slayed by Panda and Grim.

If anyone wants to meet up before, during, or after the show for party time/hang out, shoot me a PM! I'm bringing a couple AC virgin friends of mine who are super cool. It will be a good time. Promise!

long live panda, and long live this Grim Reaper set.

Fantastic set tonight. Panda was probably the most 'aggressive' i've heard him. He was doing quite a bit of improv at tail ends of melodies, and opted for singing the harmony parts in a lot of of the tomboy jams at times.

Ms. Pacman as an opener was a great choice. nice to see "Triple Eye" or whatever it's called back. That really turned in to a huge song. Boys Latin is going to be everyone's jam forever. Scheherazade in the encore was beautiful.... the end of YCCOM was gorgeous... great set. small but psyched crowd. "heart and soul was great as usual. Can't wait for this record.

Can I say that Blues Control blew my mind? Can't wait to see them again.

liked how aggressively he was singing but thought the DC show was better. everything at that show seemed more cohesive, even the visuals. still a great show last night though. :+)

Great show. It was nice to see him change up the set on the fly just a bit, it felt like he was just playing in his bedroom and we were there to watch.

I don't suppose anyone got audio from the show? That Surfer's Hymn was nuts.

yea man his set seemed a lot tighter compared to when i saw him back in may. he seemed a lot more comfortable with the new songs and he ripped. but i do agree i liked the dc show better only because i was hearing his new songs for the first time . other than that it was sick!! i was crossing my fingers for the preakness too. but we got 'you can count on me' instead and that was a big deal for me lol.

wish he played principe real also. miss that jam
