I think my interest just went from Avey's 2nd solo album to Panda's next solo album...
Noah is a genius and I am just glad I get to be alive to hear everything that these guys are creating.

From the video clips, it sounds very different from what he (or anyone else in AC) has done before...it almost sounds dance-y at times? Pretty cool, looking forward to some official newz on this.

I am glad so many videos have surfaced from that show to get a feel for what it was like to be there.
Hopefully they (Deakin, Avey/Slasher, Panda, AC) will be invited to the US ATP.
Or better yet - they get to curate it.

2009 was amazing. Waking up and getting to start the day by seeing Sufjan Stevens play "Seven Swans" in it's entirety.
What a strange location.
I did 2011 as well (Portishead in NJ).

Now lets never speak of that again and get back to talking about Panda Bear Season 5.

How many of the songs he's played so far do you think will actually be on the album? All of them? Just a few?

I would hope all of them get in. Sounding so good. No real fillers. Just standouts. I cant get that "eh eh eh eh" song out of my head. (Edit: track 5)

If im not mistaken the only song that didnt got in tomboy was the preakness? And even that, he didnt play live during the tomboy tours, right? High chance all of this is gonna be on album no?

Is there a name for the second song yet? Sounds like he's singing "Till I die" at the end. Seems a fitting name.

He did but I think it might have been after tomboy came out.

so I don't get why we don't just make the panda boot publicly available.... I mean, the guy who recorded it already betrayed panda by giving it to a couple people, and now it's pretty much out. I mean, we fucked up what noah wanted, but we might as well own up to it right?

A day ago! We only have two recordings of that song in the first tomboy shows (and he only played it maybe one more time after those shows)

Didn't hear the full boot but from the youtube clips it's sounding pretty on point. The melodies seem more uplifting/powerful than the more somber Tomboy tracks, which I'm psyched on. Though I do remember being unbelievably hyped on the Governor's Island tomboy boot, what ultimately kept that album from really wowing me was the intentionally minimalist production. Didn't really suit the tracks, i needs my layers. So I hope we get something a little meatier recording wise this time around.

TOTALLY I got so many good feels the first time i heard that. it sounds like he is synching up with his own voice on a pre-recorded track - which is just fucking awesome.

Wow, you think living in Portugal would make him more sensitive to the word "dago".
