A little disappointing sounding; definitely not studio quality.
But it's still cool that this exists. A big thank you to you, scarybear!

sounds like the synth/vocal track over an added beat, to be honest. It might be studio, but maybe they just took away all of the other elements and made it really sparse for the DJ set? It's pretty easy to just silence everything else in a mix. Sounds cool anyway, thanks!
Maybe someone should ask them about it whenever the chance arises?

Where the heck have you been? lol
They posted this on their Facebook before they started the 2013 shows (and subsequently cornpilled a bunch). They played PB at all of them from March through the fall, except Toronto because they played without Avey singing that night.

Which 2013 boot sounds best?

Listening to the Toronto boot from 13. Didn't realize they did a show sans Avey. I like how they drew everything out, even if only to stretch the run time

Listening to the boot, it's undoubtedly a cool, unique show.
Having been there though and feeling the energy, it was a major bummer of a show, and they didn't say anything about the circumstances at any point. A ~45 minute set and no encore with not so much as a "thank you" or "sorry for the short set, Dave is sick". Sucks when the audience leaves booing afterward.
Also, cause it was a rescheduled show from one that would have directly followed Montreal earlier in the year, where they played Bluish

well you definitely need Montreal because it's our only recording of Bluish, the few Bonnaroo songs, and the Mexico radio one

That's quite the question...depends on your preferences. What albums do you like the most?

Are there other songs than Fireworks and Daffy Duck that exist as much longer songs live (talkin' Firessplodeworks with jammy part, and Daffy Duck with the second half)? Also what are the best boots of the joints I listed?

i was going to recommend all of the 2007 ones, but i just realized they all need reuploads for their shit tags. check around later tonight, i'm also gonna fix the bowery show that has some bad gaps and overlapping audio between tracks

okay, they're done. i painstakingly mp3splt'd all the bowery 2007 tracks before realizing they were 128kbps and pretty garbage anyway, but at least now it's a gapless/skipless/backtrackless listen.
grab zdb, freebutt, ma fama, ottobar, and atp. panda tracks have subtle shifts over time rather than the huge changes you hear in avey-penned lyrics, but all of his material is such a joy to hear live that it's worth hearing them develop. he tends to favor the experimental numbers in his earlier live performances, so you get to hear a lot of tracks that didn't make the cut. you also get a chance to hear him previewing ac songs a few years ahead of their eventual album release, which is super interesting
e: wow the i'm not / boneless transition is so dope at ATP. i know ITIC/chores gets a lot of credit but it always feels forced to me; this goes much harder
