I bought the whole compilation that Eagle Kisser was on. There's a sweet Rings song on there and Deerhunter has a cool track too.

lol i saw rings without realizing there was a portner in the band and thought it was just super derivative.

a feels-era solo avey record would have been so good (although the kria tracks are p great)

judy biworker has always been one of my favorites. it's so…. I'm not sure how to describe it... psychedelic but in a grey, sad way without colors. Maybe I'm just saying that because of the lyrics.

Truly underrated tho

bi-worker has always felt really purple to me, and actually kind of happy in a weird way.

like its totally dark in a lot of ways. The imaginary friend aspect can definitely make it seem creepy, but something about it seems like hopeful ya know?

I certainly wouldn't disagree with her. This song(biworker) has felt different every time I listen to it over long periods of time. The feeling that remains constant is a strange calmness that can be either comforting or almost anxiety inducing. I really think that is the best part of AC's music too. There have been times where, depending on where I am listening and probably the pressure in my ears, played a factor into how a song sounds, especially tracks like water curses, or anything from feels, where it is a very major(chord) sounding song with a lot detuning. That effect can make the song sound completely different depending on your listening experience/mood.

I have this same feeling for Abyss Song.

Also, I Am Your Eagle Kisser is an amazazazazing song. It's a shame it never saw an official release on a solo album or something. Still a great song though.
