I've been infatuated with animal collective for sometime now. I thought it would be wise to create a film for one of my favorite songs to share. Please watch and comment if you like... if not thank you for your consideration.

What would you guys consider to be the best song off of Fall be kind? I love the EP's just as much as their counterparts. Whats the best Animal Collective EP? I get to see the collective for the first time tomorrow. I know the band is brilliant. Whats the crowd like? Is it energetic? I honestly believe this a large portion of the show's potential, stagnant audience makes for a strange atmosphere.

man, that's pretty hard. fall be kind is a great ep. i'd probably have to go with "i think i can" as my favorite song on it tho.

prospect hummer's probably my favorite ep of theirs overall.

p.s. thanks for bringing up fall be kind! i'm listening through it right for the first time in a while. i have good memories of me and my friends driving around baking to this ep literally every night for a over a month lol

I was thoroughly satisfied with my first viewing of the animal collective. Just the pure energy, the pacing, and rhythm were so overwhelming, that I went home worn to the bone. It was as if I was an animal being overstimulated by being loved far too much. A drug on its own... with the help of a unilateral cloud of marijuana smoke the crowd became an organism that would bend and pitch, creating a mind bending experience. Overall it was the best atmosphere I have experienced at an event like this. Holy Shit the lighting was spectacular! I felt like the show hijacked my body and pumped my brain with stimulant. If I were to be critical I believe Centipede HZ was played a little too much and the crowd most certainly responded with more energy when older tunes were played. Also Humans kind of suck so when I tried to expand my dancing a bit I was met with aggression, but this was from just a few pathetic individuals... for the most part I really enjoyed the social experience. Im sure the ones that were static had no great emotion for Animal collectives energy. Whatever. I didn't know I existed.

I'm really glad you got back into Fall Be Kind. I never seem to leave it. Burn cruising with Fall Be Kind is a trip in any capacity. Animal collective creates wonderful memories that I will carry across this silly complicated world, that is why I created this video... If only to reassure them that their message is being heard.

By the way I adore Prospect Hummer's, Its whimsical as shit.

I've only been to two shows ever, but the AC show was a way better social experience. (the other was Godspeed You! Black Emperor)

Unfortunately its because I do not own the rights to the song. Fortunately... I gave a hard copy of the video to Animal Collective's tour manager, with hope they will receive the gift with open mind. Its a humbling experience to hear that people are interested in seeing this film. Thank you and I hope you look for the video in the future.
