So I've been revisiting the boys again and the song Graze really stands out to me:

I love it's overt pop melodies (the "let's not worry" part reminds me of the melody in Sunday Morning by The Velvet Underground)
Both parts are so distinct and great and I love how directly they use the flute sample:

This song and EP make me really happy and I love this era of AC, especially their extended live jams from this period. Big influence on me as an electronic music artist!
<3 also this live performance of it is so great:

Avey is so loopy on this one haha

My wife's getting ready to go to work and I'm stuck at home and I reckon this song is a real good soundtrack to being out of sync
Dave wakes up like it's the fuckin weekend, just gonna blaze all day
Noah wakes up on the wrong side of the bed, has to go to work today or something, fml
Then they sing together kinda anxious about that disconnect
one of them grew some greys/graze in the night while the other had a good sleep and is chilling out

seeing PFJ in 2007 was what got me into the community... had downloaded some 2006 archive.org sets but wasn't really doing much beyond listening to Feels occasionally.
my first demoitis too i think. the bass was so brutal!!!

another one i put on at the peak of a trip the other night... the way avey comes in at the beginning, he sounds like a sleeping giant rousing from his slumber... the strings soar up and around him with a life all their own. and the lyrics, if they're not describing the egoless, buoyant state of one deep in a sea of hallucinations, stretching out his antennae to hear the music, then i don't know what they mean. maybe they're just supposed to sound beautiful, which they do. panda's equally so. and then the pan flute jam... it was funny when they debuted it live in '07, and it's still funny now. that sample never fails to put a smile on my face. avey returns to his mantra ("let me begin...") while the sounds trail up into the ether like northern lights, transitioning seamlessly into what would i want? sky. an utter masterclass from the boys
