Tomorrow, we are releasing a new EP called Bridge to Quiet. During April and May, we took a look at some of our improvisations from 2019 and early 2020. We remixed them, collaged them, and built them into songs, finding our way to Bridge to Quiet. We hope you enjoy it! It was a fun and cathartic process, which has actually pushed us to start a new project in the same fashion.

Doesn't sound like this will be any of the 2019 tour tracks but I'm still excited

Definitely pumped. With Avey's recent performance just in general jazzed to hear what the boys been cooking up.

Yeah I wonder if this will be like a kind of warm ups and rehearsals tape as opposed to studio worked stuff from last fall. Don’t have to wait too long luckily this is such rad news!

Obviously we'll know in a little bit but are we looking at a midnight release? I'm guessing not

I'm guessing they reworked their warm up material from when they were in the studio last (when the guy associated with the studio was releasing pics/info) into a cohesive release.

Will probably be similar to the cassette tape they released at the Orange Peel show a few years back with them warming up in the studio before unleashing Painting With.

not done yet but the first song made me start crying and the 2nd song sounds like oddsac so i know this is gonna be magic through and through

i totally forgot ODDSAC was a thing and now i'm kinda wishing it was uploaded to bandcamp too

this is great. Love the title track, almost LCD/AC mashup with that synth pulse throughout.

is it just me or piggy knows one of their best songs ina long time. like no joke. this is so funny and happy and the ending drone is just so fking sick. it has everything you could want in a song (crazy sick drone, amazing catchy part). i had a big smile listening

getting BIG Jane vibes from the title track? "Slipping Away" specifically

I think Rain in Cups might be my fav. Has this super dark, sexy trip hop kinda feel that you don't often hear from them. Piggy Knows is sick too. Bridge to Quiet sorta felt like it was building toward something that never came, bit the parts with Noah's vox were still amazing.

The drumbeat in Piggy Knows sorta sounds like what Noah plays in Cherokee, wonder if it was taken from a recording of them jamming on that song.
