hey whats up i found five loops on the website in the JavaScript, only for the five tracks you see on the vinyl version of Homies. they're even commented as such. RIP to those who were hoping for bonus tracks, unless they're simply not choosing to represent them on the site

but i think they're just for the videos? and that would make sense if the clips were just from the tour

Honestly I am preparing for a digital version of what we already have... "Won't be exactly the same" has many possible meanings. If it's just the OG version I'll still be happy

Same here. I'm assuming "won't be exactly the same" definitely means a remaster, maybe with less-buried vox and more compression
Also might mean he cut the length of the intros/outros because Flight's outro is like over a minute long as is POTM's intro

He better not have cut any of the intros or outros, all the spaciness is part of what makes this release special imo.

Im just watching the songs thru youtube on my ps4 so i know they're not the best quality but part of the math sounds kinda flaccid. And at least on YouTube Shepard and Folks names are switched? Either way im glad its different because its still good and geeks like us can choose between this, the record, and the live shit

Wow I hadn't realized how unique the Part of the Math harmonies were. This mix of the song is definitely a lot thinner and the vocals are much more upfront
Edit: okay after listening more I think this is just a case of demoitis (even though the vinyl version isn't demos). That rip is super compressed and homogenous/muffled and I think this digital mix is what I wished it sounded like when I first heard it. This whole thing sounds totally spectacular.

To be fair I was addicted to xanax when homies first came out but it doesn't quite have the same magic fir me. Feels like a product now.

holy shit, this turned out so nice! it's like being short-sighted and putting glasses on for the first time. i'm not even mad about the missing motorcycle, that would have been the cherry on top of the cake.

all of these songs sound slightly worse compared the the OG versions...he pulled a jabberwocky and improved the shit out of these, the cool long intros are all gone, the vox sound a little more tame, the bass is almost non-existent in POTM...bummer man....
