The whole roll out of this record was so good. It's got it's place in AC history. The radio dj sets, the music videos. The tour was really good to boot.

While I'm not a huge fan of the album, i feel like it was a necessary step in the creative process between merriweather and painting with. Just to wipe the slate clean in a manner of speaking

I had a soft spot for the OG cover but I think the new one was a great improvement and ended up representing the music better.

Still don't understand why people hate on this record. Its like how a bunch Radiohead fans slammed Hail to the Thief...I still don't understand that one. Maybe its just that the haters are louder than the lovers

I personally thought Hz was a great era and I loved the jams that the boys pulled out with the songs like Pulleys and Amanita.

Loved the album when it first came out and listened to it every day for a month or so. Because I overplayed it so much I didn't go back to it for months but I listen to it every once in a while and I think it definitely holds up among the rest of their work. NTB is the best. So glad it was saved for this album and wasn't on Tomboy. I think that achieves the sound they were going for perfectly.

I think the album art is perfect too. (not the original one lol)

I love Centipede Hz. Sure, it's different from their other stuff, but what isn't? Father Time is the one song I could take or leave. It's not a bad song, but it isn't on my top 10 list either.

I liked CHz because it was something fresh from them, especially coming off the tail end of their heavy focus on electronic music from 07 onwards. I may have posted about it before, but I feel that most of the recent records have been too similar to Noah's corresponding solo output for my tastes, when I want/sorta expect diversity in their output. Love ETSH and PBVSGR, but I'm afraid that Painting With will be too reminiscent of recent PB songs. And I loved the boots from this era as well
