yeah if i remember correctly in his last ama he implied all the material from the 2017 shows would be released, i'm paraphrasing but i think he said something along the lines of "if you are a fan of any of the 2017 songs that didn't make it onto cows you'll be happy to know that all that material was recorded and will be released" so it sounds like we will prob see some other stuff pop up from the mothlight show i think, uncle donut, doctor no, disc one, etc

Feeling Midnight Special (which may be called The Birds), Uncle Doughnut, Enjoy the Change, and something we haven't heard before.

Didn't he say the EP was recorded at the same time but sounded very different? very exciting

I'm a little upset we cant stream the deluxe single. I was broke when the preorder happened and didn't buy Cows until like a month ago. Hopefully it emerges like Gnip Gnop eventually did.

ready to be disappointed when the two songs from the deluxe edition take up valuable EP space

Best case scenario we get midnight special/mothlight tracks/etc from the past - however I have a feeling we may get a good portion of the genghis cohen stuff

midnight special is confirmed for this EP ! i message avey on insta a while ago (it wasnt even a question, i literally just sent him the lyrics to midnight special ROFL) and and he responded "prayeremoji its not on the record, but fear not it has been recorded and will be released" so its a sure thing !

i'd really hope we get some genghis stuff, at least that track where he sings something that sounds like "i've better off lately", i know it's like a 30 second clip but it gets stuck in my head A LOT

So what is there left unrecorded? Midnight Special (probably guaranteed), Disc One/Two, Dr. No, Uncle Doughnut, Red Light Water Show from Mothlight, is there anything else?
He did Red Light on the pre-Cows tour a bit too iirc so that one's probably got a good shot. I'd really love Dr. No and Uncle Doughnut to come back but those are probably the least likely lol

I think Enjoy the Change is pretty likely since he played that one on the Cows tour.

I hope Disc One gets recorded or turns into an AC song. Love the house vibes, reminds me of early daft punk ("high fidelity").

Disc 1/Disc 2 and Doctor No remind me of Party Zute / Learning to Love by LA PRIEST

Hoping Dr. No makes the cut. Would also slay as an AC tune Painting With-style, but that is pretty far away from the aesthetic of the new stuff.

A Halloween single would be sweet! Definitely curious of how long the EP will be if he’s playing a show of it in full ?

Wow I'm very happy with the spacious sound of the first side and how the songs flow into each other! If only Red Light Water Show was a bit longer, though...

I like the concept of making each side its own entity. Disc One works very well thematically with that in mind

Disc One is so catchy

yay! What a treat. such a great year to be an AC fan, But I have honestly been saying that ever since Painting With came out. We have got so much to digest since that release, they boys have really been working hard and its been so awesome. gonna look fondly back at these times for sure.

I like how the cover is so different from what we are used to with the bouys

Also I think I listened to the boots only once or twice and it was long time ago

this ep is gooooood

im loving the production on this ep, more than cows!! it feels like the vocals mix in better with the instruments and the entire thing is like this big sound wall where i felt the vocals in cows were more hushed. im loving all three of these songs
