have a good time! you'll find plenty of hiking and forests to visit around there. when i went to big sur i stayed at fernwood which was great, def recommended. i think that's where AC did their big sur festival a couple years ago too.

pfeiffer beach is pretty. it's got one of those big archway rocks. I saw danny perez there during the camping weekend so it's AC-approved, lol

Looked into flying out west and actually going but not being able to buy a single ticket is a very unfortunate deal breaker for me.

Much different vibes than point reyes. Crowd was locked in and insanely cool and it seemed the boys harnessed that energy. Deaks was having a blast jumping around and Panda was rockin the banana look with a yellow hoodie and yellow beanie. Harmonies were out of control and Defeat absolutely annihilated. It felt like a really special night for everyone there and the boys skipped the encore break to squeeze in more tunes. They were primed and ready to play more but had to jet due to curfew, commenting on how they wished they could stay. An all around miracle of an experience.

Sorry on the delay for this, I saw someone else uploaded a recording so I didn't hurry but I took a listen to the other one and there seemed to be a lot of talking so here's this. Feel free to upgrade the artwork. If any audio master there likes it and wants to try to make it better with the raw file, let me know and I'll send it.

'Twas the 420 before Christmas, when all through the net
Not a user was stirring, not even to vent;
The animals were collected around the world with care,
In hopes that LP 11 soon would be there;
The Painters were nestled all snug in their beds;
While sounds of Tongs sang in their heads;
And Avey in his beanie, and Panda with his drum,
Had just melted our brains and made our Fall hum,
When out of the blue there arose such a sound,
I sprang to the forum to see what was found.
On to the download, oh what a seeker,
Threw on my cans or turned up my speaker.
The sparkle and sheen of the fresh new tune,
Gave me new life and made my soul swoon.

Happy Holidays everyone! Here's my recording of the boys at the Henry Miller Library in Big Sur. I think the quality is absolutely gangbusters and a great document of the mini-tour. Also included openers Dustin Wong and Takako Minekawa's set too. Enjoy!
