feel you on that dude. 2013 was the best year ever. some people complained that this wasn't a good year because there wasn't as much music, but all it should mean for any listener is that it's more time for them to listen to burntown on repeat. I traded all six of the OG copies of hollindagain that I had just to get one bent copy of burntown. #worthit.

I was gonna find one of Stan’s (very good and wholesome and enlightening) posts about his first listens to MPP in China and replace it w burntown but I don’t have the heart

If you count live performances/bootlegs then 2017 was a hell of a year… Eucalyptus, Meeting of the Waters, Coral Orgy, Sung Tongs live, and the Mothlight and Bowery Ballroom shows that gave even more Avey music.

at risk of continuing the negativity essence of eucalyptus is almost definitely the worst ac-related product of any kind
i listened to it once and cornpilled my preorder /:
this year has been fire though even if there aren't anymore releases (i think there's a chance of a panda ep or something though)

you're right and i have since listened a handful of times (still not a huge fan) and the cornpilling of the preorder was only partly related to the quality of the music... it just made for a punchy anecdote i guess
