Thread of really small details in AC recordings

Any thing that's on the border of audibility is welcome here. Also things that are easily audible but otherwise easy to miss, or a detail that you can't believe is in the song after listening to it all this time, whether it be a sample, a vocal layer or instrument, etc. Even recording anomalies like a seemingly unintentional click is welcome (this category partially inspired by Beatles Recording Anomalies -
http://wgo.signal11.org.uk/wgo.htm). In general I'd like to also know anything that gives insights to the recording, mixing, or composition of the track. Headphones highly recommended.
I was listening to Sung Tongs last night and heard a vocal part I'd never heard before at 2:50 after "if I letchya have it", seems to be more in the right channel. It sounds like Avey actually saying something rather than making some sound, as is his wont.
Another thing that had me thinking was the verses with lyrics at the end of Winter's Love. The person with the lyrics has a vocal track in the center and another on the right. However I can't figure out whether this track is duplicated (I've seen someone on the subreddit say that it is) or whether it is another take entirely, or whether it's the same take but with some kind of auto-doubletrack effect.

Sung Tongs is perfect for this kinda stuff
I think a classic one is in We Tigers the voices saying "I need to take a pee" and "c h r i s t" (lol word filter)
In Whaddit I Done it took me forever to hear the voice quietly saying "dut, dut, dut, dut" in unison with the guitar.
Avey saying "Joshmin" in Visiting Friends, I didn't realize that until he did it at the first Sung Tongs show in December and then Fovrodi pointed out that it's in the studio version too. It was pretty hard to decipher the lyrics in that song in general until they played it at that show

i didn't realize there were steel drums in peacebone until i heard the black dice mix.
it's neat what different stereos can reveal about dense music.

I soon plan to listen to the AC discography in reversed phase. One thing I already discovered is that Chores turns into a pretty well-isolated vocal.

Any time I would like to be intimate with my wife, I always initiate with a polite, "May I bang?"
She finds this very amusing as a fan of Sung Tongs.
With less affection for Centipede Hz, she is not entertained by my pre-ejaculatory proclamation of "TEN NINE EIGHT SEVEN SIX FIVE FOUR THREE ONE ONE ONE".

Yes I agree I also enjoy the subtleties of the Animal Collective.

the avey vocals on the 05/06 live versions of chores are somewhat present in the album right?
also the weird noises deakin makes during the second half of safer are mixed pretty low on the actual recording. love that shit

tl;dr it's a version of the audio where things that are the same on each of the stereo channels get cornpilled out, and things that are different remain. so for instance if you have a track where the main instruments are panned dead center, and the vocals are panned to the side, you will end up with a track that essentially has vocals only, allowing you to hear the vocal clearer than ever before.
As for how that's accomplished, you need the music files and some software that can do it, probably audacity. Here's a post I found explaining how to do it

I swear I made this thread with the intention of having a huge dump of notes and stuff but it seems my next AC binge is being delayed.

There's like this 1 second of a synthetic vacuum sounding thing that is very faint in the Hey Light clapping section, and I'm always like how did that get there? I don't think it appears on any other track as far as I can tell. Maybe it's print-through if they were using tape, or an un-muted track they forgot when rendering.

Wait I wasn't aware that Kria did vocals on Feels? I thought she just contributed piano. Gotta relisten soon.
A good subtle detail on that album is Deakins guitar melody during the "can I tell you that you are the purple in me" section of purple bottle. I never noticed it til I heard the live recordings, then I got my mind blown when I went back to the studio version.

I am not 100% sure but it sounds like her timbre in there (this is also right before the part u just spoke of, cool little deakin bit I never heard!):

turn it up loud or get high and I think that's her. Though I could be totally wrong!

I know for sure Noah is writing about a fan he met from Tomboy forward, encouraging him to make music. Its in most of the tracks. You gotta dig around the lyrics, im not gunna say more. He stopped after Homies. It's not every track but most of em. He wanted to get someone in to making music that he met whose voice he liked.
He makes music but he isnt a professional musician.

I looked back at interviews and they mention bringing her in for piano but that could be because it’s the most noticeable part from her and not necessarily because it’s the only thing she contributed. I also thought I’d hear accordion and vocals of hers in Tikwid. But it’s tough to say

danse manatee has countless tiny details. i love the sample that geo is playing during the middle of meet the light child, the really quiet section. I think it might be a construction site? but its just beautiful and really spooky

Do the environmental sounds of Campfire Songs count, or is that too obvious?

my opinion about Kria is that it sounds like Panda and if it were Kria they would have credited her.
Maybe this one is obvious to others but in I Remember Learning, are there multiple tracks of Vashti or is that another member (Probably Panda or maybe more than one?) in falsetto? It sounds a little too feminine for Panda imo.
Definitely Avey saying weeee though, sounds so much like him.

I thing I mentioned on the subreddit one time but a lot of people said I was crazy was that the vocal sample in I'm Not sounds like it's saying I'm Not backwards. All this time I thought it was an original sample but it turns out it's from an italian choir I think, so it's not really saying I'm Not backwards. BUT I think there's a (however small) chance that Noah chose the sample because it sounds like that, not that there's any way to prove it.
Here's the sample as is:
https://clyp.it/teykpiyi
Here it is backwards:
https://clyp.it/zzi5zucc
Obviously this is a stretch, and more of a weird thought I had than a strong conviction, but maybe of interest to someone out there. I mostly thought of it because it kinda sounds like the second half of the vocal sample is saying tone, which I notice was pretty close to not backwards, then I notice the first half kinda sounds like Miiiaii, which kinda seemed like I'm backwards. I dunno, i'm probably stupid.

This is an example of it.
Barely hear the vocals, synth and steel drums in the forefront. Depending on how the band mixed it you get different results from song to song.

I think there's a really deep bass line in the second part of Safer that I've never noticed until now and I'm kinda having a moment with it.

Why the hell are the steel drums mixed so low in the studio version?

Dudes whispering "vertical" at the end of vertical, last like 15 seconds
Toy piano sounding part starts at ~2:45, may sound like a harp the way it's mixed.

I'm fairly sure the steel drums sound is actually Deakin's guitar played through an effects unit.
