Hey guys and gals,
After doing that Brooklyn PB show, I’ve decided to have a go at mastering the bootleg from the Glasslands show. Since it probably won’t ever see a studio recording, hopefully this scratches some itches...
Enjoy!

man i wish these songs were recorded in a studio. a 12" single or something would've been sweet. even if the 2nd "song" became Mr Fingers this version still stands on its own as something unique
but we're lucky to have this good of a recording. have there been any other shows with unique lineups/setlists that were lost in time?

It’s funny you bring that up because I’m interested in continuing to do this for other shows too. To sort of revisit some of the shows of yesteryear with a new sheen.
Anyone have any requests? The thing to keep in mind is that it’s best if the recordings are lossless (flac or wav) for the best results. I’m looking at some of the shows in the lead-up to MPP, Feels era, etc.

I can't think of any but I was excited about this very prospect yesterday. I've been hammering Glasslands again so thank you so much for this work and effort. It's enormously appreciated.

Dave, Josh and Kria played a total one-off show. Never performed again. Some lyrics kind of became Mr Fingers but I don't really feel it's anything like the same song. It's an unrecorded treasure, perhaps at the peak of their powers, post-MPP writing and performing but pre-release. It seems to be about his grandmother's dementia, sadly. It's a very affecting piece of music. Almost reminds me of Deakin's solo stuff.

if you're still wanting requests i would love love love if you mastered the audio to the 2004 other music set and i'm sure a lot of other people would too

Does it exist anywhere in a non-mp3 format like flac or wav? It's not a dealbreaker, but it would definitely be better to start with a lossless audio format. That being said, I'd love to do that show. I've got my eyes on the Feels-era 2005 Bowery show first, and then will probably do one of the pre-MPP shows, but add this one to the list!
