lmao the first person I see upon entering the student center is Dave exiting a bathroom. I sorta panicked and was awkwardly like "oh hey" lol. But then he helped us find the lounge where the show was happening so that was cool.

Loll I not going as far as that but ya he already (imo) fucked up hors_ (technically twice, October tour but It was so fucking beautiful that became a wash.

Thanks! I wish I had tried to talk to him afterwards, but I had taken an edible that kicked in basically right as his set began, so I ended up feeling a bit nervous about bothering him since he was already getting bombarded by people. In hindsight I'm sure it would have been fine lol. I love the changes he made to Uncle donut. He talked about being inspired by early rock n roll for the cows material, and I feel like that really comes through. Uncle donut sounds like some kind of fucked up bizarro Chuck Berry song now.

i don't think midnight special sounds fundamentally that different imo, it def has a more melancholic tone though for sure. the new song after it sounds great, along with red light water show/disc one/enjoy the change. really happy uncle donut is still alive but i hope that dark foreboding sample from the mothlight show version is still present in the studio version

avey played a secret show a whilee back his sister recorded on instagram a bit of where he played midnight special and it was a lot more sparser and dark, so maybe it sounds like that. its a shame what he did to sew happy but horse is my fav from cows on pond. download quota reached on that file...i cant wait till brookyln !!

But seriously, really loving the new stuff! a Lot of really nice melodic guitar playing, like how the set started very spacy and slowly shifted to more beat-heavy tracks. Thanks for recording!

I could go for a more melancholy Midnight Spesh, it's already melancholy and dark as you like so let's go all in. I just don't want it to have a harpsichord solo and a jaunty bass part. I want it to actually kill me.
