Imagine Feels piano + modulars that sound like his old bigfoot samples. it was fantastic. i really feel horrible. i know they probably recorded it themselves, and as long as i know it wasn't lost to the void... sorry i can't share with everyone around the world, but in a way it related to the movie, a lot of which is spent on La Monte Young withholding recordings of The Dream Syndicate from 1963-1965... some cosmic joke... i'm assuming they recorded it themselves a) the ac tapes all their shows b) this was a special, one-time thing, never to be repeated.
fuck

this stinks 100% but, if it helps, it's happened to literally everyone who's used a recorder with an "arm" function. i hope to hear more snippets but i'm glad you got to experience + love it

i had a soundboard hookup to a mount eerie show. he played solo electric. i thought i took it off pause. i did not. also, losing shows sucks hard. it is a chore to transfer a recording to computer so sometimes i put it off. i lost a whole box of minidiscs in a move once. the minidisc player is broken now anyway. one of the shows i lost was an 05 pre-feels ac show in baltimore. it would have been cool to have as it was avey's birthday and everybody sang the birthday song and they gave him a cake.

Not one to kick a man when he's down but I'm truly staggered by the incompetence on display here. Sort your entire life out, friend.

I love this dude, he's very active on Reddit. I was the first to like his new Grouper recording. He knows I'm kidding.

Wow you're hilarious with your 'joke' that one person might get. So poignant

i messaged the band account on instagram and asked if they recorded it. didn't ask for a recording, just would like to know it wasn't lost. i'll update if they respond. i feel pretty confident that they recorded it themselves since it was a one time only, fairly complicated event & set. GSP might've gotten a video considering the work he was doing on screen. hopefully it'll see the light of day eventually. sorry it didn't work out

Sorry you weren't amused, I hope we can still be best friends. It wasn't for your benefit, pal.
