Can CA book AC? (A Proposition)

How much would it cost to book Animal Collective for a private CA show/party?
If we can raise nearly a grand for the server in a couple of weeks, how much could we raise in a year of people regularly putting in what they can afford, month by month, with a view to holding the purest, most utopian, true believer AnCo Dance Party of all time?
I would be happy for it to be held somewhere in America and I would fly/catch a boat over, with Tropic of Cans and tastytwo. All of the other non-American folk would do the same, and those who couldn't make it could still contribute to the fund just for the sheer will to joy of being part of this. If Carles were still alive, this would be front page news.
We're all quite different people on here but at the end of the day, no matter our creed or lack of maturity (me), this is a chance to come together and do something we would never forget until the day we die. I would hug you all and we could dance and sing and laugh and cry our hearts out to the best music we'll ever hear in our lives.
This is a genuine proposal. Let's do something that's never been done before in the history of the universe.
All my love always.

Please don't consider this a joke or a ruse.
We can really do this.
You can be part of this.

feel like they do shit like that camping weekend in Big Sur specifically with this kind of thing in mind almost? Idk, like what is it like to actually and try to book them? seems like that could be either very pricey or not really an actual option at all, but idk.
This would be really sweet tho

also i think ac would be more than happy to do something like this at least whoever is available. they could play whatever instruments they have. they seem like real good guys and can make a lot in specific situations (like thaat parking lot acoustic show in 2005/06

ya gadda get in touch with their manager and that might be hard

Why would you need a private show for that

I'm sort of with yoko bono and Tap and Fov here, even if it were in AC's interests to have a show exclusively for CA members, it's not like there's going to be a location that would be equally easy for everyone to get to. I'm very biased about this! But it's not like Americans are more impartial.

Oh fuck what about a private stream from their practice space or something lol
That might be interesting

@Hash it'd have to be Baltimore or somewhere they've never played

A private stream is way more plausible and honestly an interesting idea
It'd be pretty hard to avoid attracting the attention of music news publications though, which would quickly turn it into a not-so-private event

What about a show where we play the music and the band is the audience? Or like, a talent show because a lot of us can't play music

Private stream would be perfect (and we choose the setlist ? I know it's impossible but a fan can dream)

Let's stop with the cowardice and just do this. No more whingeing, no more but buts, let's just do it this. I'm going to find their manager and make contact within the month.

It's too difficult to pronounce, for the people who will be talking about this event for centuries to come.

I actually love the idea of us collectively (heh) performing covers of AC songs for AC, even though that might weird them out

It's my dream to be in a AC cover/tribute band, I don't care if it weirds them out .

what an amazing idea! i feel like it'd have to coincide with a tour schedule so the members aren't spread over the globe like usual.
We could set up a voting system to choose what they play (although that brings up the issue of the band rehearsing rarities and dust-offs and having the right instruments beforehand).
A live stream seems way more plausible too. Imagine if they played through SJ live in studio or something!

As I say, they're from America. It's easiest for them to play in America. Most fans are in America. I'll take the hit. If some people can't make it, that doesn't mean it shouldn't happen. Presumably we'd have to pay for Noah's flights and accommodation, too.
