Seems like AC doesn't really play special shows or setlists anymore, so even though this kinda makes it sound like a throwback show, I assume this will just be their regular material from this tour. I'm still super psyched though because the Empty Bottle is tiny and Black Dice + AC is like my dream concert bill. The last time Black Dice played a show was like 4 years ago too

It was two ticket max per purchase, and will call only. No extras. All I can do right now is imagine My Girls fans who got tickets and not me lol. I used to play all the time at Empty Bottle (including opening for Deakin), gonna try really hard to pull some strings.

I haven't been to the Empty Bottle in a while, but last time I went to a will call only type event there, it was like a list requiring an ID. Like you only get your tickets once you're inside and present your ID. So idk how one would be able to purchase someone's tickets.

Now it says ADVANCE tickets to this event are sold out. I'm going to try calling EB when they open.

Guy I spoke with at the Empty Bottle wouldn't give me a straight answer on that but said to watch the EB newsletter, though I'm leaning towards them not releasing more. Like even my band back in the day would sell out the Empty Bottle. I think I mentioned it but they only have room for 400 people.

Yeah, I wouldn't think cornpilling that is anything major. For anyone looking for tickets The Empty Bottle put a contest to win two tickets in their newsletter. Also, they're advertising it like this:

"SUNDAY we embark on another round of #EB25 with ANIMAL COLLECTIVE and BLACK DICE as they repeat their back-to-back Bottle performances from 2004."

Either that's intentionally misleading or this really will be an extra special show. I can only assume it's the former but hey maybe there's a god.
