How awesome would Mr. Fingers and Working/Tantrum Barb be live?

It would sweet if AC decided to play these songs live in some of their shows.

They say they wish this could have been treated as an album proper. If they had toured it with background projections and theater production who knows, that probably would have ruled a lot. We'll never know

How do we make this happen? Ask everyone who gets a chance to meet them to request ODDSAC songs for future shows?

i don't think they put it together in a manner that could be recreated live.

would be really sweet if they did some special 10-year anniversary show where they perform the album live with the visuals behind them. most likely not gonna happen but we can dream!

I'm interested to know how much fan demand affects their song choices. I don't think they'd do something they don't think they could have fun with themselves but I assume at the very least they'd appreciate fans telling them "there are some fucking dope songs on ODDSAC and I think a lot of people would enjoy hearing them at a show, whether they're already familiar with them or not"

Whatever effect it has it can't be much, otherwise they would have played Alvin Row a lot sooner

I wouldn't really call what they played at Glasslands "Mr Fingers", its more like they just reused a lyric to make a totally different song

Their filmography with Danny Perez was such a critical part of making it a complete work that I think they feel they wouldn't be doing the visual album justice without having the visual aspects exactly as they were intended. It'd probably be doing a disservice to Danny Perez as well.

Would be really fucking cool to get Screens into Urban Creme into Working into Tantrum Barb randomly at a show though. Can you imagine if they busted that out as a surprise?

at the very least, panda should do a reworked version of screens for his solo shows

The only solution would be to take Danny on a short Oddsac tour where they play around with the material live, both visually and sonically. I can totally see this happening in a few cities for the 10 year anniversary or something.

I asked Avey and Panda after one of their shows last week about playing Oddsac live and I think Avey said if it felt right they would be open to it. Panda also told me when I asked about playing Mr. Fingers live that Avey plays a synthesizer on it or something and it probably wouldn't be that hard to recreate live.
