So tonight at the SF DJ set at the California Academy of Sciences, Avey and Geo were playing some tunes where I could tell it was Dave singing. I only Shazam'd one of them, which turned out to be their closer. Shazam recognized it as "Kinda Bonkers", which is exactly how it sounded. [s]Anyone get a recording of it??[/s]

I'll post a screenshot of my Shazam in a bit but just thought I'd share the excitement with everyone by saying that, in response to hella people asking what it was, he said they'll be releasing some new stuff soon. Really great dancey stuff, I'm beyond stoked

Hey I was there too! Yeah that song was pretty cool, reminded me of earlier ac (ie kinda chaotic and less loopy, though I only heard it once so it's hard to say).

probably pulls from the same database youtube uses to automatically ID copyrighted content. I guess labels tend to send the data to that early in the release process.

Agreed. Doesn't sound much like PW to me either. We know they went in the studio to do Jimmy Mack so maybe this is from those sessions.
