i remember when the BWI stream was going on and we were live in action on here.. I was freaking out walking inside a costco the day before thanksgiving not looking up from my phone once. great time.. golden gal made me a friend. those PW shows were absolutely phenomenal though.

The amazing fan-made track titles of pre-release material through the years still kick ass and had me thinking....

Thought experiment:
The Painting With bathroom tapes never happened. The album hasn't been announced and we don't have a track list or the names of any of the songs.

It's 2/21/16.
The boys just debuted a ton of new material, playing the new album in full over two nights in PA and NH. We need some sweet titles for all these new tracks.
Now I know a lot of the titles could be obvious, but it'd be more fun to get creative with 'em.

The first 3 songs of PW are God-tier but I always find myself switching to the Bandcamp live albums around 'Lying.' I probably know those versions better than the LP's. Those 3 live shows are endlessly listenable.

This was my exposure to AC, it will likely always have a spot in my top 5 just for that, but on top of it the album is fucking amazing. No other band could write a song like recycling or lying in the grass

I have seen AnCo live three times (I know it isn't much) and the Painting With tour was absolutely the best performance I had seen from them ever. Also, Loch Raven and Bees as dance tracks, as well as Pride and Fight (with altered lyrics "I don't need your HBO" I think) were amazing. Maybe I'm wrong and it wasn't Pride and Fight I swear Avey sang "I don't need your HBO" to the tune of Pride and Fight, unless it's some other rare gem from them.

Also, the stage presence, aesthetics and props on stage were the best I'd seen since their CHz Prospect Park show.

Yeah I have mixed feelings on the album, it's probably my least favorite release of theirs if I had to pick, but they were on fire during those tours. Saw them at the 9:30 club in 2016, Gnip Gnop went so hard. And they did the most transcendent version of Loch Raven. Definitely one of the best shows I've seen them do.
