LITG is my favorite track off the record, and my favorite live jam this tour.

Some of the best use of their vocal trade-offs, I love it. Also it's the most night-timey of the bunch, great pic for the single.

I imagine them in a lab pouring solutions into beakers and everything goes awry at the end and everything explodes

i imagine being at some summery outdoor water theme park, in the giant swimming pool, toward the deep end, with ~100 people in the pool as well, singing along to litg, which is playing thru big monitors above the pool. you know when you're in a big body of water and the waves are pushing you forward and backward? i connect that muscle memory to this song (and many other AC songs)

I don't have much love for studio LitG but Today's Supernatural and Wastered are the far worse

As a single it's hard to compete with pre-CHz tracks but it's definitely one of my favourites off Painting With and a million times better than Floridada

wastered isn't really a single in the same sense as their other singles

I think the bridge of TS elevates it, personally, it keeps unwinding and takes this unpredictable circuitous route back to the chorus.

Wastered is better.

Floridada has very lithe verses and a chorus you can only get away with once in a career.

My first instinct was nahhhh it's not that bad...but when you look at the list of released singles, I think it is.

I think it's better than than CHz singles but probably not as strong as any of the singles from albums leading up to CHz. As far as songs on PW go, I like LITG more than floridada, but i think floridada probably made for a good leadoff single to PW.

Monkey Riches is by far my least favorite AC song and TS is pretty low down on the list. Applesauce would have been a good song if it didnt have like 350 different parts/sections

I don't think so, I think it has a propulsive forward drive. Kind of like I'm getting swept up in it, a lot of silly fun.

Floridada is the only track on Painting With that I think is really good

It's the only AC single that I had no desire to listen to again after listening a few times. Basically all of PW is like that for me; almost no desire to replay it. Cept for 'DaDa.
