Excited. Hope I get to see them again.
Maybe this doesn't deserve it's own topic... but oh well.

Holy hell
I'm hoping they do a victory lap set at the end sort of like the 9:30 set where they'll play half PW, half old stuff
Hopefully swing back by Atlanta again

Remember when AC was doing Comfy in Nautica live? Do you think they'd give another Panda song a go?
I doubt it - but it would be really cool to hear them do Boys Latin together, for example. Or something from Tomboy? Surfer's Hymn? I dunno.

I wonder what the motivation was in the first place to play Comfy. Maybe because they were between albums and wanted to give Panda some spotlight for Person Pitch being so loved.

I always wondered that too, clumsy. My best guess would be that it was an album that the rest of the band was so inspired by (Dave spoke about it in a number of interviews) and Comfy fit the AC vibe or whatever. I was never floored by the full band version of the song but it's still cool that they played it.

i really loved comfy when they would play it - fit the vibe well. I am hoping Reverend Green makes on the new set list!!

If they bring back anything else from MPP I would love Bluish
....and I really want Water Curses too, as it seems many others do too
Spoiler: show
and Graze would be killer too, but I doubt it

it's gotta be the easiest song to put together last-minute. afaik as i know this is the longest version and the only version with acoustic instrumentation

I'm just gonna try to guess songs they may add based off of how they've been handling the other covers. It seems like they're into taking older calmer and ambient tunes and adding dance style beats to them. I'm also guessing they're going to move away from Feels and PW (at least a bit). With that in mind, here are songs I think they might add to their setlists this tour, not in any particular order:

Infant Dressing Table - seems like something they could transition into from a CHz song (if they bring any of those back) with that voice at the beginning - could be similar to Loch this tour where they start with the ambience then grow it into a dance song

Father Time - if they add any CHz song, my guess is on this one. They probably won't want to bring back songs they played a lot last tour, and this is one that could work with some of their newer tracks

Runnin' The Round Ball - with the beat on this track, it could totally be a track they open with, transition with, or combine with another track Fireworks/Essplode style

Two Corvettes - This one's a long shot, since my guess is they may be doing Sung Tongs stuff before anything off of Campfire, but I could see this being something they pull out, if they have the tech to re-create it, which is doubtful

Derek - While a lot of the Strawberry Jam track's might be a bit awkward with their more recent PW stuff (Peacebone and Fireworks would actually fit, but they've played those a lot in the past few tours) this one could work. Though maybe I'm biased, because I just really want to hear it live

Water Curses - A track that's been mentioned before and one that would definitely be awesome. If not this track, my money is on them picking at least one song from the EP. Not sure why, it just feels like a somewhat surprising decision they would make.

Lablakely Dress - Another somewhat ambient piece they could make work with their current lists

Pride and Fight - It would work so well in this setlist (granted, it would work well in any setlist ever), they could warp it so many different ways to work (make it dancey, use it as a bees style interlude, play up those synths in the back of the mix to transition into On Delay). It's so hard to guess where they'll go, but this song would just work so well I have to put it out there.

I'd love to know what people think of these guess/hopes.

Thanks! Looking at them again, they may all not be the most realistic (then again, I would have laughed at anyone who guessed Alvin Row and Loch Ravin before this tour). I was mainly thinking about the stuff they played in 09, which was just all over the place and awesome. We can only hope for sets half as good as those

I believe so. Well if you don't include the Japan Noah's Ark show

At the time I was bummed because I was supposed to see them in New York a couple of days after and then they cornpilled the following gigs (same thing happened to me in March 2013 in Chicago) but it is a cool to hear these versions of the songs now.

Surprised I got two of those right. A bunch of mine were so far off from what they actually played, but Pride and Fight made me so happy it doesn't matter.

this is from a different avey-less show during the pre-mpp tour - still awesome nonetheless
