Anyone here seeing AnCo at the Troxy on Tuesday?
I'll probably be wearing a red tartan shirt with a STGSTV t-shirt under that if anyone wants to meet up. It's my very first concert and I'm social anxious so be nice.

I'll be there.
Not sure what I'll be wearing yet, but you'll know it's me cos I'll have earphones in listening to one of their better albums.
But nah for real, you'll see me floating above the crowd during Loch Raven.
I hope the UK crowd doesn't cause any trouble!

Me too, what Panda said in the KCRW interview has me worried. Excited nonetheless though!

Stanshant from on here and yes it was.
If you open it in audacity and ramp up the volume you can pick up both Geo and Avey muttering a variety of "Fuckin Stanshants".
Check out the video and the interviewer, however unsure of himself during the interview hitherto this point, is nodding profusely.

I honestly teared up a bit during Bees. Did not expect that song to blow me away as it did. Loch Raven was amazing too.
Also, is it just me or are Panda's songs from PW 1000x better live? Lying in the Grass was incredible live.
Might upload some shitty videos.
Edit - Also GFOTY was absolutely terrible... But I guess that goes without saying.
There was also a server lack energy in the crowd. Which was the total opposite of what I was expecting. But I guess that's better than the alternative.

She opened for Animal Collective and it was generally just a very boring and awkward performance. After she finished her set, the guy standing next to me shouted "Average!", which made me laugh.
YoYoTaco wrote:
Also, how the hell did Geo shut everyone up in the quieter bits?? Insane!
I think it was just a very tame audience that knew when to be quiet. Both a blessing and a curse really.

Loch Raven, Lying in the Grass, Daily Routine and Jimmy Mack were the absolute highlights for me, but the whole gig was incredible. 3rd time seeing these guys live and they still blow me away.
Lying in the Grass, Jimmy Mack, Bees, Summing the Wretch, The Burglars, Daily Routine and Alvin Row were the highlights for me. Was my first time seeing them, and any band for that matter. Kinda sad it's all over now. Hoping they'll come to London again.

The amount of people going "...EH, they're not 'My Girls' good anymore tho!!!!" after the gig was hilarious.
One of those people may have been me. I said it out loud as a joke to a friend that went with me.
Uploading some shitty videos now

I was there! Managed to get near the front with a lovely view of Panda, although unfortunately I was right in front of a bloody huge speaker so that piercing high-pitch sample on Daily Routine was almost the death of me. But it was a pretty great show, my first time seeing AC. Highlights were definitely Floridada and Golden Gal.
Also I don't know if it was anyone here but one guy in front of me who was possibly sufficiently shitfaced shouted "HEY AVEY, ALWAYS WINTEEEEER" right before they went into Bees.
Wasn't taken with GFOTY myself either. Must be what EDM sounds like to people who hate EDM.

People were not quiet at my end lolz, and I was right at the front. Too many kids fucked on MD that "just like LITERALLY had to talk" (more like shout) when it was too quiet. Still heard them way too much for my liking during Bees. Ah well.
I was in the pit area but also kinda far from the stage itself. I was basically standing in front of where what seemed to be the sound engineer and Abby who I think was probably controlling the visual stuff. Was pretty calm where I was standing haha.

Crowd could've been way worse to be honest. loved to see the odd group of people being mindblown at Alvin Row showing up on the set. And haha, the people I heard saying the gig sucked were definitely not being ironic.
I heard nothing but positive things after the set ended. I also saw someone with a really cool PBVSGR t-shirt. Anyone get any cool merch while there? Managed to get that tie die looking t-shirt with AC written on it and that awesome pillow case.
Also, here's some footage from last night. Videos are pretty brief but that's because I wanted to enjoy myself.

Yeah, so this was v good.
Natural Selection is a great opener. It actually gave me some pretty strong demoitis. It should be a 7-minute whopper on the LP for sure.
Summing The Wretch surprised me as well, really enjoyed it. Lying in the Grass is already a classic live AC tune for me. Big.
Some other really great songs sprinkled throughout. Loch Raven was maybe the best thing I've ever seen live. In fact, Noah really blew me away at his. Totally electric. It's a crime against my very soul that I never caught him during the Greaper era.
The sound at the venue seemed pretty good, but I could barely hear Avey during Burglars and Alvin Row. So neither of those really did much for me. On Delay was OK as well. Kinda glad they played Spilling Guts, that was cool.
Oh ya and Jimmy Mack was awesome.
Which song was it that Avey went crazy dancing to at certain parts? Can't remember.
Glad you other guys enjoyed it too. It was a sweet night. Did anyone go to the afterparty? I saw a sign for it outside the bathroom.
That supporting act sounded really crap. Like, obnoxious. Hah, heard a girl in the smoking area like, "How is that aht? Tell me how that is aht?"
Went through like fucking almost 500 quid over these two days.
