Looks like the boys are coming back to Chicago in July. Gonna be one hell of a beach party!

Looks like they're playing Saturday 7/2. Single day tix last year were around $60 which isn't bad. Definitely going to check this out!

That is amazing. I'm hoping they play at 9 during Milky Chance on Saturday. According to Geo's interview a few days ago, they generally get to choose when they play during festivals now.

seems like last year the biggest acts were all on the main stage unless they were a dj and in the dj tent. unless it's different this year, i'd imagine we're looking at a 7:30ish performance on the main stage before milky chance. maybe we'll get some sunset vibes.

My thoughts exactly. Looks like the schedule came out two weeks before the festival last year so we should find out when they play next week or shortly after.

set times got released today. animal collective are closing the "park stage" at 8:30. glad that means they'll be performing at night, though hoping it's still on the beach kind of.

Its going to be so awesome for us going to tomorrow BC they should be bringing different songs to the set! At least they said they were looking to switch things up for the show in July and well with this being the first show they do in July and having played Chicago earlier this year, I would think it would different !! I know this is wishful thinking but a debut of a new song would awesome be soo fcking epic, but that's a stretch for sure. ...

Yep ..kids on holiday ...the rest of the set was same as before ...seriously wish DR was out of the picture...i would've rather two more shorter PW songs ...its boring AF @ an out door fest ...like a 10th of people walked away from that ...after that it was pretty bomb the rest of the set out! But Avey kinda sounds like he's sick of doing Floridada

have you seen them on this tour other than tonights show? i think thats just how he does the chorus part. when igo back and listen to the record after seeing the show, that's totally how he does it on the recording.

Overall I thought it was a fun show. For a festival crowd, I thought everyone was pretty into it, or at least more so than I've seen before. it was a bummer they didn't play until 10 though

Also I kinda agree with you Saferintheflowers, I wish they would've played something else beside Daily Routine, preferably Gnip Gnop, spilling guts, or hocus pocus, as I still have yet to see those. Actually Loch Raven would've been a great trade off that I think the crowd would've dug

Ya I honestly thought that was the worst crowd I've ever seen .... That's probably the reason for no encore ...tycho had more people at the end of their set then them ... I was VIP so I was up high and looked at the crowd and was like "what's these fuckers problem?" They were killing it on stage ... Melky chance probably fucked them a little BC they were on the beach stage am they r 100 times more poppy, so ya .... I mean I don't care I loved it!
