How it works: post what song you want to claim and I'll update the list below, we aim for a date for everything to be finished (I'm thinking May 1st?) that will inevitably get postponed. It's fine to have multiple people covering the same song, but we need to make sure no songs get left out. And have fun! Covers can be as faithful to the original as possible or you can completely take it your own direction. That's what makes it interesting.

I imagne burglars could sound really neat if produced in a swing lo magellan way. like, vocals at the forefront, minimal drums, minimal bass, and thats it

Ok so that's every song accounted for! I'll set the date to May 1st for completion, but no stress if you can't get it done by then. Easiest way to submit songs is probably upload to soundcloud with downloads enabled and I'll consolidate them all. If anyone else wants to do a song just say the word and I'll add you to the list. Remember, the more the merrier! (the colours on the list are arbitrary by the way)

I think this is the fastest we have ever had an entire group of people choose songs they wanted to cover for a full album.

Mad I'm late but I honestly have said I'd contribute to at least two of these albums and haven't had the time to complete them. I will be doing some covers on my own though. Looking forward to see what kinda stuff you all come up with!

Wow, the hocketing on Hocus Pocus is really quite a challenge, slowing the song to half it's original speed make it (sort of) doable, but I've never felt more lacking in rhythm

so i started out my "on delay" cover trying to make it sound like as if it were a song off feels, im not sure it is exactly that, but in the process it took on a life of its own. i really enjoyed making it, it kinda just poured out.
