venue has three floor levels, if you dont wanna get locked out of going on the closest floor level i advise getting there early, atleast by 8 for ratking
venue usually starts when it says, so im imagining ratking to play right at 8, animal collective at 9

I really wasn't feeling it tonight. I don't know if my ears are jacked up but the sound was like I was in a tin can. Like everything around felt kinda quiet and reverbed too much. Am I crazy? I was standing near front center so maybe the fact the speakers were parallel to me was causing it. I dunno.

i really enjoyed the show tho i don't think the sound was the greatest
i thought the alvin->jimmy->burglars sequence to close the main set was pretty fantastic
pretty much immediately after the lights went up i heard multiple people around me whining that "they only played the worst song off mpp" smh

I quite enjoyed it. First time seeing them live and was grateful to end up right in front of panda bear. I had watched plenty of love videos of them and knew the sound was going to be v different from recordings. Wasn't super impressed with the sound for the most part but loved the arrangements, transitions, and finally seeing panda bear in person.

Damn this show was awesome. I had a great spot right up and center on the first balcony terrace thing right above GA. I took this video, wish I would have filmed more but I was too caught up in the show!
I also thought the sound was not good, and I was standing around the middle middle. but I usually don't like the sound at the fox.
got stuck by a lot of weirdos and loudmouths and kind of had a bad time! the performance was amazing though. beautiful to see multiple crowd surfers during alvin row. and panda can siiiiing dang.

There where some bro types constantly blowing weed smoke everywhere, that's pretty typical of the Fox. But the crowd surfing was awesome. I've never seen that at an AnCo show before. SO COOL!

Loch Raven! Bees! Alvin Row! Daily Routine! The versions of these were so insanely good. Really awesome selection of old jams. The new jams also sound incredible live. I was especially into Hocus Pocus, Golden Gal, and Burglars. Also the transition from LITG to Bees was incredible. When the drums for LITG started up and the auto harp from Bees was getting all chopped up i was losing my shit. The sound was definitely not the best, but it only really detracted from my enjoyment of Hounds because i don't know that track like I know all the others. Jimmy worked really well sandwiched between Alvin and Burglars though.

Glad you guys like the video! I'm going to the Primavera festival in Spain later this year and I'm going to try to record the whole set... hopefully! I'll bring my good camera too.

Fun show last night. Definitely better than the last time I saw them (Treasure Island 2013, so cooold). I recorded audio of the complete show (from center loge). Haven't had a chance to listen yet, but if it sounds decent I'll edit it and upload to the LMA soon. I also shot one video but that will take longer (need to sync with the audio recording, etc.).

^yesssss you are a hero
and ditto about treasure island...I was helping my buddy film the festival, and I got to go up in a cherry picker during animal collective...in the freezing cold wind...and thought I was gonna die. haha
