I think he's the only member who has yet to release a full length solo LP. There are some solo Geo tracks sprinkled throughout here and there, but I'm really curious as to what Geo could pull off in his own unique record.

These are my fav Geo sounds, in rotation heavily since it came out in my house.

geo is my fav member of animal collective. the dude ties everything together in a really undetectable way. watching him live is fucking awesome.
i'm stoked as hell at even the idea of a geo solo album.

LOL buzzkill. I doubt this also, but I guess anything is possible. Especially after stretching songs

Geo is a real genius. He is a humble and knowledgable artist and a completely unique one too... how many artists are like Geo?! ... I bet if he ever makes a solo album it will be freaking amazing...

he has stated before that he feels more comfortable when collaborating and that he will never make a full solo album
but hey you never know, he could change his mind

I think Geo could do a sweet solo album with long form songs that span 2 whole LP sides, like how TTG is formatted or what Four Tet did with Morning/Evening
Actually it would be even cooler if Geo did a collab album with another artist like Four Tet, Floating Points, Nicolas Jaar, Jon Hopkins, Tim Hecker, etc.

outside the core anco fandom (mainly this place) geo is severely underrated. he's incredible. stretching songs for spring is such a good idea of what he can do. if he wanted to make a solo album, it'd definitely be some top tier ambient stuff... but I doubt he'd ever do it.

He could do it but he just can't be arsed, he'd rather film a fuckin blowfish on his phone and show it to his mate or something. I respect that immensely.
Geo wife: what did u do 2 day hun?
Geo husband: made a noise that went 'weeeeaaaoowwww' and drew a logo for an aquarium I might open if I can be arsed.
Geo wife: gr8 heres your dinner
Geo husb: what is it
Geo wf: fish of course??!
Geo: just wash my hands love (he done a shit during the conversation )
