Noooo!!!! I'm driving all the way down from Seattle to go to Tonalism the night before. It will break my heart if I'm in LA and have to miss this set. Anyone have suggestions on how to get in? Don't see any posts on Craigslist or anything...

Check the fb event (I'd link but am on my phone at work). I saw a few people asking for / offering tickets on there.

if you're gonna be in town anyway, just show up and see if there's door admission.
If not, just smile at everyone going in and ask if they have an extra

haha yeah i was pretty surprised, the echo is kind of small i guess and maybe people mistakenly thought the band will actually be performing or something?

nah, both sets were very different. echo was much more beat oriented.

thanks dude ! hopefully this is the start of another avey solo run.. it seems like these songs could fit in with his 2011 stuff. i'd really look forward to this if it had a proper release.

Hey, I appreciate the offer but Avey Tare is the actual coolest/nicest guy and he put my friends and I on the guestlist! Telling the door lady I was a guest of Avey Tare was definitely a bucket list moment. Avey's set was very cool and holy shit, Tonalism was one of the best musical experiences of my life.
