Im playing On a plain in a an open D tuning and I cannot figure out the chorus to save my life!!!!! PLease if anyone has any ideas to try LMK!! and Happy Singing Band is another one that is so simply but yet cant figure out that one chord they are picking? TY for your help!!! .....and has anyone ever took a shot at Foetus no man?

So the song is in open D tuning (DADF#Ad).
The song is played in 3/4 timing.
The strum pattern is just upstroke, downstroke, repeated.
The song starts off this way, with a higher D chord:

I believe Happy Singing Band is played on two guitars, one doing the plucking and one strumming the chords.

The easiest way to play that is to us your thumb to pluck the B and your index finger to pluck the e. then when it comes to A, use your thumb to stroke the strings A through G, while your index still plucks the e. Then the next note you just use the thumb to play strings D through B. That will cover both the Dmaj7 chord, and the 2 u pluck, since it is part of the chord.

Foetus No Man is a tougher song, since its not in standard tuning. I also suspect it is two guitars overlapped.
But here is how I play it.
I play it in open D, just like On a Plain.
The song's in 4/4, and triplet notes are played throughout.

My apologies that I have yet to thank you!!!! That was truly amazing ow quick you were able to figure it out and most of all tab it out like that!!!
I do have a question on the Foetus no man (which may I point out that I love how its in an open D tuning too) I understand how you used the non-vocal version, but I cant figure out how to play the part (or match the part) to the "and is he ok kay kay kay and am I ok kay kay etc..." ?
