First of all. What are these tracks on lyricalcollective?

Popadam ("Wazzup")
Garage ("Do It"/"Day After Day")
OG Faces in the Crowd ("Tribe Vibes")
Jabberwocky ("Heart and Soul")
Cosplay ("Make My Day")
Nadir ("Take Care"/"Fill Those Spaces")

Second of all was the first Panda Bear album 1998 or 1999? I have seen so many conflicting dates/answers on various sites.

Thanks.

Popadam, OG Faces in the Crowd and Jabberwocky are songs played live but not released yet
Cosplay is the same, but Sonic gave us a demo of that song

Garage = Crosswords
Nadir = Selfish Gene

Here is the wayback machine archive for the P4k review of PB's self-titled. I can't tell what date it was published though. http://web.archive.org/web/200408100529 ... bear.shtml

One last thing. Does anybody actually have the first Panda CD? Was the cover this?

or was it the white one I always see?

I've only ever seen the white cover but that one looks cool! I really want a copy of the cd, but at the moment there's only one for sale on discogs and it's 90 USD

I prefer the brown cover. It perfectly portrays the warm beauty of the s/t

My question is, if Bonfire of the Valentines got a studio recording, where do you guys think it would be in the Person Pitch tracklisting?

dude you're completely right and now I need to have that album cover in my mind instead of the white one when I listen because it makes so much more sense :o

I just throw that whole first part of the ZDB set with Laughed for a world/Search for Delicious/Bonfire in place of Search for delicious so it's like
Comfy in Nautica
Take Pills
Bros
Good Girl/Carrots
I'm Not
Laughed For a World Filled With Fantasy
Search For Delicious
Bonfire of the Vanities
Ponytail

The whole thing comes out to like an hour on the dot, which is a reasonable time

It's always just felt better that way for some reason

Interesting that you guys like the vinyl order. I really like the non-vinyl track order personally, I like how Bros > I'm Not > GG/C makes it go loud/upbeat song, slow/quiet song, loud/upbeat song. And I feel like having I'm Not and Search for Delicious back-to-back would somewhat kill the momentum of the album.

Of course this is just my opinion, and I've listened to the album tons of times in the non-vinyl order, so I'm accustomed to it. Maybe I should try the vinyl order some time and see how it feels.

I'm pretty burnt out on PP so I don't know how much I should say on this haha

I think the vinyl order works really well for vinyl because you get the space between changing sides as little breathers between each section, so it goes FUNFUN UPLIFTING INTRO > BROS GROOVE TIME > GG/C BOMBAST WOOHOO > 3 TRACK CHILL OUT AND RELAX

Having I'm not in the middle works well for cd/digital listening though because the whole album is a huge blob of joy, so you need the I'm not spacer to punctuate things a bit. This order is more symmetrical too!
idkk just my very sleep deprived thoughts

I am so obsessed with Untitled 5, and the live version is so beautiful, love the way he sings it

Funny, I was just listening to Young Prayer last night when I realized for the first time that the vocals on Untitled 5 are all singing the same thing, just sung in a round.

Untitled 6 is maybe my favorite on the record, or maybe Untitled 9

i listened to that album for the first time last night, held off for the longest time since i knew it'd be emotionally draining, and it was

i've had untitled 5 stuck in my head all day now. the cool thing is that it's a round of 3 instead of 4

I noticed this too. I'm hoping it's some sort of hiccup related to them putting PBvsGR up there next week (assuming they do—honestly don't really know how these things work)

for some reason pbvsgr is the only pb album on Google Play, otherwise all they have is the ZDB set parts 1&2, and all of the tomboy singles.
how weird is that?

I think it has to do with catsup plate kinda going out of buisiness so maybe all of thats being taken off because of that.... Hope it'll be back though.

this is interesting — the only existing mirror i can find for panda bear's myspace lyrics for person pitch are on this general-discussion german forum (or whatever it is) http://www.sms.at/community/talkbox/ind ... try1402946 i'm sure they're copy-pasted a lot of other places but this is the only place i found that includes the blog title "person pitch words." also this partial screenshot from some blogspot http://earlboykins.blogspot.com/2007/04 ... yrics.html

Probably the best place for this question.

Having got the 24bit files for PBVSGR, it got me wondering. Does anyone know if these are available (via legal means) for Person Pitch (and Tomboy too I guess).

Thanks!

This is such an oddly specific thing to notice, haha. Did PB type these out personally?
